What is the eufy RoboVac "C" model line?

The 15C, 15C MAX, 25C, 30C, and 35C are the only models in the eufy line that support Wi-Fi, come with the EufyHome app and are integrated with Amazon Alexa and Google Home, also support the Find My Robot feature.

What is the eufy RoboVac "G" model line?

The eufy RoboVac G10 Hybrid is capable of doing sweeping and also mopping. This model is equipped with a gyroscope for better navigation.

What is the eufy RoboVac "L" model line?

The eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid is the only robot vacuum in the family that is laser-guided which means it creates a map when cleaning and is the most efficient among all the robots in the line.

eufy RoboVac MAX Series

The models with MAX in naming means these are the most powerful machines in the Series. Normally they might or might not have Wi-Fi and all the following features but always deliver 2,000 Pa of suction and are suitable for medium-pile carpets and handle pet hair.

Remote Control & App Control

In the box to each of the eufy robots, there is a remote controller. With the controller, you can switch between cleaning modes, schedule the robot to clean at a specific time, and manually control it.

The "C", "G", and "L" Series can be controlled from your smartphone as well as voice commands if you have Alexa or Google Home.

Cliff & Anti-Collision Sensors

Cliff and anti-collision sensors are standard in the industry. They help the robot to navigate around without damaging your furniture and falling safely. Each of the eufy robots is equipped with them.

Bare floor and Carpet Performance

All the eufy cleaners perform well on bare floor.

  • eufy RoboVac G10 Hybrid is a sweep-and-mop robot that was designed for hard floor only
  • eufy RoboVac eufy 11+, 11S, and 15C are suitable for homes with thin carpets and some area rugs.
  • eufy RoboVac 30, 11S Plus12, 15T25C, 30C, and 35C are great for thin and medium-pile carpets.
  • The latest MAX robots are ideal for homes with mostly carpeted surface; even though they are great for bare flooring too, the 11S MAX and 15C MAX have one of the strongest motors on the market.
  • eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid is the most efficient and has the strongest suction among other models. It is as suitable for hard floors as it is for low and high-pile carpets.

Please note, the eufy robots are not suitable for large homes yet are perfect for small and medium-sized houses.

Find My Robot

This option helps to find the device that was lost. Press the search button inside the EufyHome app to track it down. The robot will make a sound so you can find it.

Supported by the "C", "L", and "G" Series.

BoostIQ Technology

In this mode, the robot automatically increases suction power on carpets, which is a rare thing for budget robots. This feature provides deep cleaning on thin carpets. All models support this option.

Eufy robots follow a random pattern except for the latest G Series. Eufy does not remember where it has cleaned and where the floor needs to be vacuumed. The robot runs around until its battery runs out of energy and then automatically returns to the charging dock. The cleaner has two side brushes that agitate dust from corners and under thresholds transferring all dirt to the main brush where along with strong suction debris gets sucked up inside the dustbin.

The G10 Hybrid is equipped with a gyroscope that helps the robot to not miss a spot when cleaning but it is not as efficient as a Lidar. The L70 Hybrid is equipped with the LDS sensor that allows setting no-go zones, set where to clean, and other interaction with the map.

The eufy 11S MAX so far is the latest and most powerful model in the family. It delivers 2,000 Pa of suction, and it is the first robot vacuum in the industry that is as powerful with the price tag of $249.99. It does not support Wi-Fi, the only way to control it through the remote controller that comes in the box with the robot.

The eufy RoboVac 11S MAX is ideal for small homes with carpets and pets. It has enough power to suck up pet hair and dust that hidden away in carpet.

eufy RoboVac 12

Upgrade Pick

eufy RoboVac 12

Good for thin carpets

Suitable for small to average households with a mixed surface.

The eufy RoboVac 12 has the same cleaning performance as the RoboVac 30. They have a similar minimalist design and strong 1,500 Pa suction. The short body allows the robot to fit under most furniture. The same as the eufy RoboVac 30, the 12 model lacks Wi-Fi support. It does not have the EufyHome app and is not compatible with Alexa-enabled devices and Google Home. Also, it does not have boundary strips in the box.

The eufy RoboVac 12 is enough for cleaning thin carpets up to 16 mm thick. It is great for bare floors as well. Also, it is one of the cheapest in the model line. If you don't care about no Wi-Fi support, lack boundary strips - go with the eufy RoboVac 12.

eufy RoboVac 15 Series

There are three models in this line: the 15T, 15C, and 15C MAX. One of these models lacks Wifi and thus app & voice control and the three models have different suction power.

eufy RoboVac 15C

Budget Wi-Fi Enabled Pick

eufy RoboVac 15C

Best budget Wi-Fi enabled

Compatible with Alexa and Google Home, the robot is ideal for mixed surfaces. Can be controlled by the app and voice commands. The best budget pick with the app.

The eufy RoboVac 15C is the first robot from the manufacturer that comes with an app. In the app, you can control its movements, schedule the robot, and switch between cleaning modes. If you own Amazon Alexa or Google Home, the eufy RoboVac 15C would be a part of your smart home system, and you can control it with your voice. If you want to control your vacuum from the smartphone, get the eufy RoboVac 15C.

If you don’t care about the magnetic tape and don’t have carpets or already have a traditional vacuum that would be the main cleaner get the eufy RoboVac 15C.

If you want some extra power and the ability to block some areas of your home have a look at the eufy RoboVac 30C that is ideal for homes with medium-pile carpets.

eufy RoboVac 15C MAX

Our Choice

eufy RoboVac 15C MAX

The most powerful Wi-Fi enabled model

Has the strongest suction among models with random navigation. Ideal for deep carpet cleaning and pet hair. Similar performance to the eufy 11S MAX, but this model is compatible with Alexa and Google Home.

The eufy RoboVac 15C MAX is the upgraded version of the eufy RoboVac 15C.

The 15C MAX supports Wi-Fi and can be controlled with your voice if you own Amazon Alexa or Google Home. Because of random navigation, the eufy 15C MAX is not suitable for big homes but is ideal for smaller households. If you don’t need magnetic tapes that are not included with the latest model, get the eufy RoboVac 15C MAX especially if your home is about carpets and you need extra power.

So far, it is the best robot vacuum in the model line in terms of value.

eufy RoboVac 15C vs. 15C MAX

These are similar models with the only difference — suction power. The RoboVac 15C delivers 1,300 Pa of suction and is ideal for low-pile carpets and mixed surfaces, the RoboVac 15C MAX has 2,000 Pa and is capable of cleaning medium-pile carpets and pet hair.

In short, one model supports Wi-Fi while the other does not. So far, we would recommend getting the 15C MAX since you get the app support and smart voice system compatibility but if you don’t care that much about this stuff, go with the 11S MAX.

eufy RoboVac 15T

Best Budget For Mixed Surface

eufy RoboVac 15T

The cheapest for a mixed surface

The robot is suitable for thin and medium-pile carpets, ideal for smaller spaces and those who want to get a budget yet decent robot vacuum.

The eufy RoboVac 15T is the cheapest robot vacuum in the model line with strong suction power. The short body allows it to fit under most furniture. With 1,500 Pa of suction, the eufy is capable of cleaning bare floors and thin carpets. If you don’t want to spend more, have a pet, and live in a house with almost no carpets, have a look at the eufy RoboVac 15T.

The robot does not support Wi-Fi so you can't control it with your phone; however, the robot comes with a remote control that helps to manage its movements. There is also no magnetic tape in the box.

To conclude: the eufy RoboVac 15C is good for low-pile carpets. If you don’t need wi-fi support but have low-pile carpets and pets, go with the eufy RoboVac 15T. The eufy RoboVac 15C MAX is ideal for pet hair and medium-pile carpets.

eufy RoboVac 25C

Decent Model

eufy RoboVac 25C

Wi-Fi enabled model for pet hair

A decent robot vacuum that does a superb job on thin carpets, bare floors and handles pet hair. Can be controlled by voice commands.

The eufy RoboVac 25C is ideal for small homes with a mixed type of surface.

eufy RoboVac 30 Series

Each of the models in this series comes with boundary strips. These robots are one of the latest and are among the powerful ones in the line. They have similar features and specifications except for suction power and wi-fi connectivity.

eufy RoboVac 30

If You Need Magnetic Tapes

eufy RoboVac 30

Comes with magnetic tapes

The robot performs well on thin and medium-pile carpets and pet hair. The model is similar to the Eufy 25C only lacks Wi-Fi and has a magnetic tape in the box.

The eufy RoboVac 30 is the first cleaner with the stronger suction power of 1,500 Pa. In the box, you will find a magnetic tape. Specialized dual-Hall Sensors detect Boundary Strips to ensure RoboVac only cleans the areas you want. Although the unit has stronger suction power, it is very quiet when cleaning. Strong suction, along with BoostIQ, provides deep cleaning on thin and medium-pile carpets. It costs $239.99 on Amazon, and the main differences between the eufy RoboVac 30 and 15C are lack of Wi-Fi support, magnetic tape in the box and the RoboVac 30 has stronger suction.

eufy RoboVac 30C

Worth Buying

eufy RoboVac 30C

Has it both

The vacuum comes with magnetic tape and also is Wi-Fi enabled meaning it can be controlled via remote control, app and voice commands if you have Alexa-enabled device or Google Home.

The eufy RoboVac 30C is a flagship robot cleaner in the family. It has the same 1,500 Pa suction, magnetic tape in the box and supports Wi-Fi. It means you can control the robot with your voice if you own Alexa or Google Home. The robot is suitable for medium and thin carpets as well as bare floors. Also, this robot vacuum cleaner good for pet hair. The robot costs $279.99, which we think is a fair price for the features the eufy 30C offers.

eufy RoboVac 30C MAX

Best For Carpet

eufy RoboVac 30C MAX

Strong suction power

It has strong suction power and two magnetic tapes in the box to keep it off some zones.

The Difference between the RoboVac 30C MAX and 30C:

  • The 30C MAX model has 2,000 Pa of suction, while the 30C has 1,500 Pa

eufy RoboVac 35C

Best Mid-Range

eufy RoboVac 35C

The best pick if you need Wi-Fi and magnetic tape

It is a similar model to the Eufy 30C only it has one magnetic tape instead of two. Ideal for homes with mixed surface and pets. If you are looking for a cleaner with Wi-Fi, decent suction power and magnetic tape to keep it off some places, this is your choice.

The eufy RoboVac 35C is the latest robot vacuum in the family. It has strong suction, supports Wi-Fi, is compatible with Alexa-enabled devices and Goole Home. It looks different; other RoboVacs have a single Power button on top, the 35C has 3. As expected, the 35C is the most expensive cleaner in the model line. It has a lot of accessories in the box, including 6,6 boundary strips.

Thanks to the Boost IQ, strong suction and good climbing ability, the eufy RoboVac 35C is suitable for small homes with bare floors and occasional thin carpets. Please note, this eufy robot does not provide deep cleaning on carpet.

eufy RoboVac G10 Hybrid

Best For Hard Floors

eufy RoboVac G10 Hybrid

Gyro-guided

Has strong suction, equipped with a gyroscope for better navigation. Can also do mopping. Ideal for small and average homes with pets and no carpets.

The eufy RoboVac G10 Hybrid is the first robot vacuum in the family that is equipped with a gyroscope for better and more efficient navigation. It does not miss a spot when cleaning, unlike random-bouncing models.

The eufy RoboVac G10 Hybrid can do mopping and sweeping

It delivers 2,000 Pa of strong suction yet is quieter than most robot vacuums. It is the second robot from Eufy that resumes cleaning from the spot it left off when its battery is out of charge.

Designed for hard floors only, ideal for pet owners who don’t have carpets.

eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid

Best Pick

eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid

High-precious map and efficient navigation

The first eufy robot vacuum that is equipped with the LDS laser and follows a purposeful navigation pattern. Has one of the longest-lasting batteries in the industry and strong suction of 2,200 Pa. Supports virtual walls and zoned cleaning and is integrated with Alexa-enabled devices and Google Home. Can do mopping and sweeping at the same time. Ideal for big homes with thick carpets and pets.

The eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid is the first model in the line that is equipped with LIDAR and builds a high-precious map. After the map has been created, the L70 calculates the most efficient way of cleaning and follows a purposeful pattern not missing a spot.

The eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid remembers your home layout and does not miss a spot

The robot is equipped with a water tank and mopping pad and is also suitable for bare flooring. Inside the dustbin, a filter can be washed with water and meant to live longer.

When a certain area requires attention, customize RoboVac to clean the specific room or spot needed by using Zoned Cleaning

Having one of the strongest suction, the robot is able to get rid of fine and bigger debris on thin and thick carpets (not shaggy carpets). The robot can be controlled in real-time in the app and you can see where it’s been. Also, the app allows setting virtual blocked zoned and supports zoned cleaning.

Set virtual boundaries (No-Go-Zone) to exclude the areas in which you don’t want RoboVac to enter

Thanks to mapping, the robot resumes cleaning when it’s done charging in case it didn’t finish the job before the battery died.

It is not the cheapest model, in fact, it is the first flagship robot vacuum in the family that has mapping and navigates efficiently. It is suitable for both: bare floors and carpeted surface, also does a superb job at picking up pet hair. If you need a cleaner with additional features such as restricted areas and zoned cleaning, want a powerful machine to clean your carpets, live in a big house, have a look at the eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid.

Which eufy robot vacuum is the best to buy in 2019?

  • What is your budget?

If you do not want to spend extra and don't have carpets, go with the eufy RoboVac 15T. It is a decent budget robot that will suit your needs.

  • Do you have Alexa enabled devices and want a robot to be compatible with them?

In this case, go with the "C" line: eufy 15C, 15C MAX25C, 30C, 30C MAX35C, and the latest eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid/eufy RoboVac G10 Hybrid. These are app-enabled machines that can be controlled by your voice.

  • Do you need to create a blocked area where a eufy should not go?

Only the eufy 30, 30C, 30C MAX35C come with magnetic tape. The difference between them is app support and the length of the boundary strips. The eufy RoboVac 30C, eufy RoboVac 30C MAX, and eufy RoboVac 35C support wi-fi and can be controlled from your phone.

The eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid supports virtual blocked areas that are easier to set and more accurate thanks to mapping.

  • What is the surface of your home?

The eufy RoboVac G10 Hybrid is designed to work on hard floors only. Thanks to gyroscope, it is more efficient than random robots.

Mixed surface with some area rugs and bare floor: eufy 11S and RoboVac 15C. Not suitable for medium-pile and thick carpets.

Thin carpets and bare floors: eufy RoboVac 12, 25C, 30, 30C, and 35C.

Because of strong suction, the following models are ideal for medium-pile carpets:

  • eufy RoboVac 11S MAX
  • eufy RoboVac 15C MAX
  • eufy RoboVac 30C MAX
  • eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid

The L70 Hybrid is the most efficient because of the LDS laser on top.

  • What eufy robot vacuum is the best for pet hair?

Although each robot vacuum works great on bare floor when it comes to picking up pet hair, because of stronger suction power we would recommend going with (keep in mind those are not as good on medium-pile carpets):

The MAX models are ideal for pet hair & homes with low and medium-pile carpets:

If you don’t mind the robot’s lack of Wi-Fi support, go with the eufy RoboVac 11S MAX model, it is the cheapest robot vacuum in the industry with the price tag of $249.99.

If you want a high-featured product with accurate mapping and strong suction, have a look at the latest and smartest eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid.

What about Eufy 25C? You mention it at the beginning but then no in depth comparison like you have for the others. What makes it different from 30C or 35C? Thanks!

Looks like someone (me) forgot to save the latest update.

In short: the Eufy 25C has one of the strongest suction power as well as the Eufy 30, Eufy 30C and Eufy 35C. It supports Wi-Fi, which means you can control it from your phone, but it does not have a magnetic tape in the box. The Eufy 30C and 35C have magnetic tapes in the box (13.2 ft vs. 6.6 ft). Suitable for bare and carpet flooring but will not provide deeper cleaning on medium-pile carpets. The Eufy 25C is also integrated with Amazon Alexa and Google Home.

        Hello

Thanks a lot in advance!

          Hello, Miyoko

None of the Eufy robots have mapping except for the latest L70, you are absolutely right! Have a look at the Eufy 11S review, it randomly bounces around with no visible algorithm. Gyro-based machines normally follow a back-and-forth pattern thus covering the whole area while random robots might miss some spots because they do not learn your floor layout.
Even though they do not have any mapping technology, the Eufy cleaners are still the best for the price among many budget models, so I highly recommend getting on of those if you don't want to spend more on a Laser-based model.

Hi, thanks a lot for the great article. One question. What's the difference between Robovac 12 and 15T?

              Hi, Javier, thank you :)

I actually don't know. I believe it is the same model just named differently since they have the same specifications and by how they can release many models that are very similar, I concluded I'm right about this one. I didn't find any extra-features the 12 or 15T have, maybe I wasn't really going deeply about that but I wouldn't be surprised if these two are about the same.

                Thanks for the quickly repply!!!
I called customer service and they said the only difference between them is the cover: 12 is covered with tempered glass and 15T isnt… but in spects they are the same!

Oh, thank you so much, now I know, the tempered glass is claimed to be anti-scratch so your robot will look good after some time of using.

Thanks for the great article — super helpful! Do you know if the Max models at 2000pa suction power are any louder than the Non Max models at 1500pa? I couldn’t find anything that says they are louder — but I would think they are. I’m trying to avoid purchasing a cleaner that is loud, so that’s a concern for me. Thanks so much!!!

                Hi there,

The manufacturer claims it makes 55 dB of noise and it can be true. Some robots have the same suction power but different noise level so I believe the 2,000 Pa robots are not louder than those which deliver 1,500 Pa.

If you want a powerful robot vacuum it will be louder than an average robot in any case but the Eufy robots are one of the quietest models out there.

Thank you for a great review — the only one that I felt the need to comment on!

                I've been researching eufy for what seems like weeks and weeks now… Down to the final 5. (30C / 30 / 12 / 11s Max / 15C Max)

Still on the fence about wifi vs. not, and not sure what a large difference it is between 1500 vs. 2000 suction. I have a small cape house with hardwood and area (low pile) rugs. One large dog who sheds a lot.

The 30 is definitely in my price range, but will I regret not having the app? We're not super hi-tech, but like convenience.

Any help would be appreciated! This is becoming an obsession I'm really ready to be finished with!

                  Hi :)

Having vs. no having WiFi depends on you. These models do not give you a lot of options to do with the app so you are not missing a lot, you can start/stop and schedule it. I rarely use the manual moving option tho. If you want to control the robot from your phone, get the Wi-Fi capable model, if you are okay with the remote control only, go with any other but a «C» model.

If you have a large dog who sheds a lot I would suggest getting a powerful (any «Max») model because it needs to be capable of picking up lots of dog hair especially on the rugs. The more powerful the better so I would keep at eye on something that has stronger suction.

The 11S Max and 15C Max are very similar models with the only WiFi capability so maybe consider getting one of these.
If you get something with 1,500 Pa it would also be a good choice but be ready to run it more often.

                  Hope that helped
                  Best,
                  Natalie

Thank you Natalie for the help!

Seeing how we don't use the app for our smart scale, I don't think we'd be too sad to not have wifi with our robovac! Great advice.

Why, for the love of god do they have so many overlapping options. They have the most confused product lineup I have ever seen.

Hi! I’m looking at the hybrid models… I can’t figure out which one to go for. I only have hardwood floors or tile throughout the house and 3 non shedding dogs. I would like the mop option but not sure which one.

Hi Camila. Eufy has two cleaners that are hybrid: the Eufy G10 Hybrid and L70 Hybrid. The G10 is not recommended for carpets. By reading customers reviews on Amazon, I assumed that this is not the best company's cleaner.
If you are not ready to spend more on the L70 Hybrid, maybe have a look at the Roborock Xiaowa E2, it is a good vacuum and is a good mop too, has better sellers rate, and overall better cleaning performance.

Which model is best for concrete floors?

Hi Linda. I believe, they all can work on concrete floors but might get some scratches underneath.
