Premium vs. Budget models
The Lidar-guided robots are premium models. Those are more featured and have a higher price tag.
The S, C, and G series are budget models with a price tag $300 max.
What is the eufy RoboVac "C" model line?
The C model line includes the robot vacuums with random navigation. Those models look alike underneath and have about the same specifications. The difference between those eufy robots is WiFi connectivity which also makes a robot able to integrate with Alexa/Google Home.
All of them include a remote controller, have a big 600 ml dustbin, automatically increase suction on carpet, and are not suitable for medium-pile carpets.
The “C” lineup is not suitable for medium and large homes.
eufy RoboVac MAX Series
The models with MAX in naming mean these are the most powerful machines in the Series. Normally they might or might not have Wi-Fi and all the following features but always deliver 2,000 Pa of suction and are suitable for medium-pile carpets.
Unlike other models that have a high-efficiency filter, the Max series comes with a standard filter which may cause stronger suction.
eufy 11S Max vs. 15C Max vs. 30C Max
The eufy 11S Max lacks wi-fi support so is being controlled by pressing a start/stop button and a remote controller.
The eufy 15C Max has wi-fi, supports Alexa and Google Home, and can be controlled via an app.
The eufy 35C Max has all the things above and additionally includes a magnetic tape.
What is the eufy RoboVac "G" model line?
The “G” means the model is guided by a gyroscope, has a purposeful cleaning pattern, and as a result, is more efficient. All of them are Wi-Fi-enabled, have the same height, and increase suction on carpet automatically. None of them includes a remote control. The Hybrid models are 2-in-1 robots that include mopping attachments. Those have smaller dustbins and include a second water tank
eufy G30 Edge vs. G30 Verge
After I have been trying to find the difference between the two I figured those are the same models made for different stores. The G30 Edge on Amazon and the G30 Verge is made for Walmart. Aside from slight design differences, the two have the same specifications and features.
eufy RoboVac G10 vs. G20 vs. G30 vs. G40
In short:
- The eufy RoboVac G10 Hybrid has the smallest battery life. It comes with mopping attachments and, as the manufacturer claims, is not designed for carpet surface cleaning.
- The eufy RoboVac G20 is a vacuum only and does not have boundary strips. It has a bigger dustbin, suitable for low-pile carpets, and delivers 2,500 Pa which is more than the G10 Hybrid and G30 (+ modifications) do. Suitable for medium-pile carpets.
- The eufy RoboVac G30 is not as powerful as the others and some modifications include boundary strips.
- The eufy RoboVac G40 is the only one with an allergycare filtration system and a self-emptying dustbin.
The "G” series is suitable for small and medium-sized homes but if you have cluttered areas or places where the robot potentially can get stuck, have a look at the models that support boundary strips.
What is the eufy RoboVac "L" model line?
The eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid is the only robot vacuum in the family that is laser-guided which means it creates a map when cleaning and is the most efficient among all the robots in the line. It is also the only model that saves a created map and supports virtual no-go/no-mop zones and can be sent to clean a specific room or a few. It has the best climbing ability and is suitable for medium-pile carpets.
The eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid can be used in a big and multi-level house.
What is the eufy Hybrid model line? Eufy With Mopping
The Hybrid represents the mopping option. The robots with “Hybrid” in the naming can do mopping and sweeping and is suitable for both surfaces, hard floors, and low-pile carpets.
There are four models that has mopping: G10 Hybrid, G30 Hybrid, L70 Hybrid, L35 Hybrid, and X8 Hybrid.
IR Remote Control & App Control
In the box to each of the eufy robots, there is a remote controller. With the controller, you can switch between cleaning modes, schedule the robot to clean at a specific time, and manually control it. Only the “C” lineup includes a remote controller.
Only the eufy RoboVac “11” Series, 15T, and 30 do not have WiFi.
The WiFi-enabled "C", "G", "L", and "X" Series can be controlled from your smartphone as well as voice commands if you have Alexa or Google Home.
Cliff & Anti-Collision Sensors
Cliff and anti-collision sensors is an industry gold standard. They help the robot to navigate around without bumping hard your furniture and falling down the stairs.
Find My Robot
This option helps to find the device that was lost. Press the search button inside the EufyHome app to track it down. The robot will make a sound so you can find it. All Wi-Fi-enabled models support this feature.
BoostIQ Technology
A eufy automatically increases suction on carpets, which is a rare thing for budget robots. This feature provides deep cleaning on thin carpets. All models have this option.
Navigation
The eufy C line navigates more or less randomly. Those models do not remember your floor plan, can not be sent to clean a specific room and as a result, are not efficient. I would recommend those robots for a smaller place like a studio apartment.
The G lineup is guided by a gyroscope following a purposeful pattern and is more suitable for bigger places as they have fewer chances to miss some spots untouched compared to the C line.
The L and X series are the only robots guided by Lidar, save a cleaning map, have the most advanced navigation, can be sent to clean a specific room/area, and can be used in a bigger house.
eufy RoboVac 11 Series
The following models are not Wi-Fi-enabled and can not be integrated with Amazon Alexa/Google Home. You can control them only by using the included remote controller.
eufy RoboVac 11S
eufy RoboVac 11S
The most popular budget model
The eufy RoboVac 11S is shorter than the 11+ and has a slightly stronger suction power of 1,300 Pa. It has a bigger dustbin and is affordable, you can get it for $139.99.
The eufy RoboVac 11S is suitable for homes with a bare floor surface.
eufy RoboVac 11S Plus
The eufy RoboVac 11S Plus would cost you $398.95. It is the same old eufy RoboVac 11S Plus but delivers more suction. The RoboVac 11S Plus is suitable for small homes with hard floors and pets.
eufy RoboVac 11S MAX
eufy RoboVac 11S MAX
Has strong suction
The eufy 11S MAX so far is the most powerful among the 11 series. It delivers 2,000 Pa of suction, and it is the first robot vacuum in the industry that is as powerful with a price tag of $249.99. It does not support Wi-Fi, the only way to control it is through the remote controller that comes in the box with the robot.
The eufy RoboVac 11S MAX is ideal for small homes with low-pile carpets and pets.
eufy RoboVac 11+ vs. 11S vs. 11S Plus vs. 11S MAX
The eufy RoboVac 11+ is the tallest, loudest, and has the worst climbing ability along with shorter battery life and smaller dustbin. Other than the price, the other models have different suction power with the 11+ being the weakest and the 11S MAX being the most powerful.
We would not recommend the 11+ because of having about the same price and not having any advantages over the others.
- eufy RoboVac 11S is for homes with hard floors.
- eufy RoboVac 11S Plus is better for homes with hard floors and some low-pile carpets.
- If you have a pet and low-pile carpets, consider getting the eufy RoboVac 11S MAX.
eufy RoboVac 12
The eufy RoboVac 12 has the same cleaning performance, a similar design, and 1,500 Pa suction as the RoboVac 30. The same as the eufy RoboVac 30, the 12 model lacks Wi-Fi support. It does not have the EufyHome app and is not compatible with Alexa-enabled devices and Google Home. Also, it lacks boundary strips in the box.
The eufy RoboVac 12 is enough for cleaning hard floors and some up to 16 mm thick carpets. If you don't care about no Wi-Fi support, and lacking the boundary strips - go with the eufy RoboVac 12.
I didn't find any difference between this model and the eufy 11S Plus except for a slight design change.
eufy RoboVac 11S vs. RoboVac 12:
The only difference between the two robots besides the price is suction power: the RoboVac 11S ($139.99) delivers 1,300 Pa while the RoboVac 12 (~$348.95) delivers 1,500 Pa.
We would suggest the eufy RoboVac 11S for homes with a hard floor surface and no carpets.
The eufy RoboVac 12 is better with pet hair and some low-pile carpets.
eufy RoboVac 15C MAX
eufy RoboVac 15C MAX
One of the cheapest Wi-Fi enabled models with strong suction
The eufy RoboVac 15C MAX is the upgraded version of the eufy RoboVac 15C. It supports Wi-Fi and can be controlled with your voice if you own Amazon Alexa or Google Home. If you don’t need magnetic tapes get the eufy RoboVac 15C MAX especially if your home mostly has low-pile carpets.
eufy RoboVac 11S MAX vs. RoboVac 15C MAX: The Difference Explained
Those are two similar models that have the strong suction power of 2,000 Pa suction and are almost look-alike. Both are great for homes with pets and thin carpets.
- App / Wi-Fi support. The RoboVac 15C MAX comes with the EufyHome app and can be controlled by the app and remote controller. Also, if you have Alexa-enabled devices or Google Home, the RoboVac 15C MAX can be controlled by simple voice commands. The RoboVac 11S MAX only has a remote controller;
- Amazon Alexa / Google Home support. As we said before, the RoboVac 15C MAX is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home;
- Find My Robot Option. With the app, you can recognize the eufy RoboVac 15C MAX location with the Find My Robot feature. Supported by the 15C MAX model only;
- Price. So far the eufy RoboVac 11S MAX is cheaper.
In short, one model supports Wi-Fi while the other does not. So far, we would recommend getting the 15C MAX since you get the app support and smart voice system compatibility but if you don’t care that much about it, go with the 11S MAX
eufy RoboVac 15C vs. RoboVac 30C
The RoboVac 15C and 30C support wi-fi. Because of the Wi-Fi support, the eufy 15C and 30C are compatible with Alexa-enabled devices and Google Home. With the app, you can switch between cleaning modes, start/stop, and schedule the robot. The main differences:
- Magnetic tape. It keeps the robot from going to certain places where it can potentially get stuck. The Eufy 15C does not include it in the box, and you can’t buy the tape separately as the model does not support any. The eufy RoboVac 30C has a 13,2 ft (4 m) boundary strip in the box;
- Suction Power. The Eufy RoboVac 30C has stronger suction. The 15C is suitable for hard floors and some thin carpets. If you have low-pile carpets or pets, get the eufy RoboVac 30C;
If you don’t care about the magnetic tape and don’t have carpets or already have a traditional vacuum that would be the main cleaner get the eufy RoboVac 15C.
If you want some extra power and the ability to block some areas of your home have a look at the eufy RoboVac 30C that is ideal for homes with hard floors and low-pile carpets.
eufy RoboVac 25C
eufy RoboVac 25C
Wi-Fi-enabled model for pet hair
The eufy RoboVac 25C has a strong motor that delivers 1,500 Pa of suction, supports Wi-Fi, and has the same height as the other models in the family. However, the 25C does not include a magnetic tape in the package. You can control the robot with a smartphone.
I didn’t find any difference between this model and the eufy RoboVac 30C except for some design difference.
eufy RoboVac 30 Series
This series includes the eufy RoboVac 30, 30C, and 30C Max. They have the same dustbin size, climbing ability, and battery life. All of them include a remote controller.
eufy RoboVac 30
eufy RoboVac 30
Comes with magnetic tapes
The eufy RoboVac 30 is equipped with a magnetic tape. It has a $249.99 price tag and is good for homes with hard floors, some thin carpets, and pets.
eufy RoboVac 30C
eufy RoboVac 30C
Has it both
The eufy RoboVac 30C has the same 1,500 Pa suction, magnetic tape in the box, and supports Wi-Fi. It means you can control the robot with your voice if you own Alexa or Google Home. The robot is suitable for thin carpets as well as bare floors. Also, this robot vacuum cleaner good for pet hair. The robot costs $169.99 and is not suitable for bigger homes.
eufy RoboVac 30C MAX
eufy RoboVac 30C MAX
Strong suction power
The eufy RoboVac 30C MAX comes equipped with magnetic tapes, has an app, and strong suction power. Perfect for pet owners and those who live in a household covered with thin carpets mostly but can also be used on hard floors.
eufy RoboVac 30 vs. 30C vs. eufy RoboVac 30C MAX: which is right for you?
- Suction power. The eufy RoboVac 30C Max has the strongest suction and is suitable for homes with thin carpets and pets while the other two are better for hard floor usage only.
- Wi-Fi connectivity. The eufy RoboVac 30C and 30C Max are compatible with the app, Alexa/Google Home, and have the Find My Robot feature.
eufy 11S MAX vs. 15C MAX vs. 30C MAX: The Difference Explained
RoboVac 11S MAX does not have a Wi-Fi option and is not compatible with Amazon Alexa or Google Home. Also, this model does not support magnetic tape. It is the least expensive among the three. If you don’t need Wi-Fi, you don’t have Alexa/Google Home, but have carpets and need extra power, go with the eufy RoboVac 11S MAX.
RoboVac 15C MAX supports Wi-Fi, can be controlled through the app, and is integrated with Amazon Alexa and Google Home but this model does not have a magnetic tape. If you are looking for a powerful robot vacuum to clean your carpets that would be compatible with Alexa/Google Home at a price of $175.99, have a look at the eufy RoboVac 15C MAX.
RoboVac 30C MAX has all the same options the 15C MAX does only also supports a magnetic tape while the two others do not. It is an ideal option for those who need their carpets to be clean and also have some places to keep the robot off them, get the eufy RoboVac 30C MAX.
eufy RoboVac 35C
eufy RoboVac 35C
The best pick if you need Wi-Fi and magnetic tape
The eufy RoboVac 35C has strong suction, supports Wi-Fi, and is compatible with Alexa-enabled devices and Goole Home. It looks different; other RoboVacs have a single Power button on top, the 35C has 3. As expected, the 35C is the most expensive cleaner in the model line. It includes 6,6 boundary strips.
Thanks to the Boost IQ, strong suction, and decent climbing ability, the eufy RoboVac 35C is suitable for small homes with bare floors and some thin carpets.
eufy RoboVac 30C vs. RoboVac 35C?
Both models share the same cleaning performance and features. They have a short body and both support Wi-Fi.
- Aside from the design, the 30C comes with 13,2 ft (4 m) boundary strips in the box, and the latest 35C has 6.6 ft (2 m) strips.
G series
The “G” means the model is guided by a gyroscope, has a purposeful cleaning pattern, and as a result, is more efficient.
eufy RoboVac G10 Hybrid
eufy RoboVac G10 Hybrid
Gyro-guided
The eufy RoboVac G10 Hybrid is the first robot vacuum in the family that is equipped with a gyroscope for better and more efficient navigation. It does not miss a spot when cleaning, unlike random-bouncing models.
The eufy RoboVac G10 Hybrid can do mopping and sweeping
It delivers 2,000 Pa of strong suction yet is quieter than most robot vacuums. It is the second robot from Eufy that resumes cleaning from the spot it left off when its battery is out of charge.
Designed for hard floors only, ideal for pet owners who don’t have carpets.
eufy RoboVac G20 vs. G20 Hybrid
The eufy G20 series includes two modifications, the RoboVac G20 and RoboVac G20 Hybrid. The Hybrid model includes a mopping attachment and has a smaller dustbin. The Hybrid is better for homes with hard floors mostly. None of these are good for large homes tho.
RoboVac G20
Ultra slim body
The RoboVac G20 has stronger suction which makes the robot more efficient on low and medium-pile carpets although its climbing ability is unknown so we are not sure whether it can cross over a medium-pile carpet or not however, the manufacturer claims it is suitable for medium-pile carpets.
eufy RoboVac G30 vs. G30 Edge vs. G30 Hybrid
The G30 series is the richest in modifications, it includes a G30, G30 Edge, G30 Verge, and a G30 Hybrid. The G30 is the only one that does not support boundary strips. The G30 Edge and Verge are similar, only the Edge has longer boundary strips (6.6 ft vs. 13.2 ft) and the Hybrid is the only one that mops.
RoboVac G30
Purposeful cleaning pattern
One of the newest models in the lineup is guided by a gyroscope and Path Tracking Sensor. The Gyroscope is not as accurate as Lidar and misses some bells such as settings no-go zones or ordering the robot to clean a specific room.
The robot has strong suction and is suitable for thin carpets and hard floors.

The robot includes two types of mopping cloths: reusable and disposable. Suitable for small homes with hard floor areas and low-pile carpets.
eufy RoboVac G40 vs. G40+ vs. G40 Hybrid vs. G40+ Hybrid
The eufy G40 series is the only one in the G lineup that supports a self-cleaning base. There is no difference between the G40 and G40+ except for the latest coming with a self-cleaning base. The same goes for the Hybrid and Hybrid+ versions. Unlike the RoboVac G40, the RoboVac G40 Hybrid includes mopping attachments and has a smaller dustbin.

The self-cleaning base sets you free of emptying the dustbin for up to 30 days thanks to a 3.2L disposable dustbag. The station can be bought optionally.
The eufy RoboVac G40+ and G40 Hybrid+ are the only models in the G series that support a self-cleaning base
Unlike others, the station has a triple-filtration system with Allergycare which makes it suitable for everyone especially those who are sensitive to pollens and allergens.
X series
The X series has twin-turbine technology: with each turbine generating 2000 Pa of suction, the RoboVac X8 Hybrid creates up to 80% more airflow.

Twin turbine technology
Compared to the previous high-end L70 Hybrid, the X8 has two turbines each of which generates 2,000 Pa meaning extra deep suction. It also has room recognition, which the L70 Hybrid lacks, and supports saving more than one map. This function lets the X8 recognize which floor the robot is on when working in a two-story house.
There is also a tap-go feature that allows tapping on the map and sending the robot to a specific place.
The non-hybrid option does not come with a water tank and has a bigger dustbin (600 ml).

The two have the same specification list, but the Hybrid version comes with mopping attachments and mopping ability when the X8 only sweeps.
L series
The L series eufy robots are guided by lidar which is the most efficient way of navigation and also it creates the most accurate map.

Eufy L70 Review
The eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid is the first model in the lineup that is equipped with LIDAR and builds a high-precious map. After the map has been created, the L70 calculates the most efficient way of cleaning and follows a purposeful pattern not missing a spot.
The eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid remembers your home layout and does not miss a spot
The robot is equipped with a water tank and mopping pad and is also suitable for bare flooring. Inside the dustbin, a filter can be washed with water and is meant to live longer.
When a certain area requires attention, customize RoboVac to clean the specific room or spot needed by using Zoned Cleaning
Having one of the strongest suction, the robot is able to get rid of fine and bigger debris on thin and thick carpets (not shaggy carpets). The robot can be controlled in real-time in the app and you can see where it’s been. Also, the app allows setting virtual blocked zoned and supports zoned cleaning.
Set virtual boundaries (No-Go-Zone) to exclude the areas in which you don’t want RoboVac to enter
Thanks to mapping, the robot resumes cleaning when it’s done charging in case it didn’t finish the job before the battery died.
It is not the cheapest model, in fact, it is the first flagship robot vacuum in the family that has mapping and navigates efficiently. It is suitable for both: bare floors and carpeted surface, and also does a superb job at picking up pet hair.
eufy RoboVac L35 Hybrid
eufy RoboVac L35 Hybrid+
The only one in the lineup with a self-emptying base
The L35 Hybrid+ is the only one in the L lineup that includes a self-emptying base. There is another modification, the eufy L35 Hybrid with a bigger onboard dustbin but it does not include a self-emptying base.
Unlike the L70, this model has room cleaning and saves multiple maps. It also has more power and a bigger dustbin. Additionally, the L35 Hybrid includes a self-emptying base so it doesn't need a big onboard dustbin.
eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid vs. L35 Hybrid+
The L35 Hybrid+ includes a self-emptying base, delivers more power, and has a bigger water tank. Additionally, can be sent to clean a particular room.
The L70 Hybrid on the other hand has a bigger onboard dustbin is significantly cheaper and is a good option for those who want Lidar but do not need those extra features.
eufy RoboVac LR30 Hybrid+ vs. RoboVac L35 Hybrid+
The only difference between this model and the RoboVac L35 Hybrid+ is suction power (3,000 Pa vs. 3,200 Pa) and the L35+ Hybrid uses an anti-bacterial and deodorizing dust bag while the LR30 has a standard disposable bag. Other specifications are the same.
Because of being not as powerful and a different type of disposable bag, the eufy RoboVac LR30 Hybrid+ is cheaper.
Frequently Asked Questions
- My home is 1300 square feet, no carpets. Which eufy should I get?
For bigger homes, I suggest getting a robot with mapping abilities and longer runtime. This might be the G30 or the L70 Hybrid. These would be efficient and spend less time cleaning your place while the randomly moving models would not cover the whole area and might get lost.
The walking speed of the vacuum is 27cm/s.
- I have some hard floor areas and not sure whether I need mopping. Is this feature that important?
Only the eufy G10 Hybrid and L70 Hybrid come with mopping attachments. The G10 was not designed for carpets or big homes. The mopping feature is nice to have but not necessary.
- Can I run a eufy at night?
Yes, any eufy model would be able to work at night.
- I have a fairly thick carpet in my bedroom. Which model would be capable of vacuuming it?
Unfortunately none eufy robot vacuum would be able to climb on a carpet thicker than 16 mm (0.63 in).
- I want to order the robot to clean my kitchen only. Which model will be able to do so?
Only the eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid supports room cleaning. Other models do not have such an option.
- Which one will return to the charging station after finishing cleaning?
Yes, all models return to the charging station after finishing cleaning automatically.
- I have some cluttered areas. Do I have to buy a eufy with boundary strips or the other models have no-go zones too?
If you don't want the robot to get stuck there, I would suggest getting one that either come with boundary strips or support digital walls (no-go zones) such as the L70 Hybrid.
- Can I do a daily schedule?
Yes, every model has scheduling.
- Can I run the eufy without the internet?
Yes, you can but with the L70 Hybrid, you will not be able to schedule the robot, set no-go zones, watch the cleaning process, etc.
- Can I use it on wet spills?
Wet spills might cause motor damage. You better use one with mopping on wet spills.
- I have hard floors only, do I have to get a model with stronger suction?
I would recommend getting one with stronger suction anyways as it will be able to pick up heavier debris such as sand, rice, etc.
- Will it work on a dark carpet?
The cliff sensors most likely will think it's a drop-off and do not let the robot go on one. This issue relates to almost all robot vacuums.
- Can I use boundary strips on the models that do not come with one?
No, the ones without boundary strips in the box do not have a sensor that recognizes the strips.
Which eufy robot vacuum is the best to buy in 2022?
- What is your budget?
If you do not want to spend extra and don't have carpets, go with the eufy RoboVac 15T. It is a decent budget robot that will suit your needs.
- Do you have Alexa enabled devices and want a robot to be compatible with them?
In this case, go with the "C" line: eufy 15C, 15C MAX, 25C, 30C, 30C MAX, 35C, “G” line: G10 Hybrid, G30 / G30 Edge, and the latest eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid. These are app-enabled machines that can be controlled by your voice.
- Do you need to create a blocked area where a eufy should not go?
Only the eufy 30, 30C, 30C MAX, 35C, G30 Edge, and Verge come with magnetic tape. The difference between them is app support and the length of the boundary strips.
The eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid supports virtual blocked areas that are easier to set and more accurate thanks to mapping.
- What is the surface of your home?
The eufy RoboVac G10 Hybrid is designed to work on hard floors only. Thanks to a gyroscope sensor, it is more efficient than random robots.
It is recommended to get one with stronger suction even if you have hard floors as it would be able to pick up heavier debris.
- What eufy robot vacuum is the best for pet hair?
To pick up pet hair, have a look at those that deliver 2,000 and more Pascals.
