Hi Rachel, thank you :) If mopping is your biggest concern I would suggest getting the S5 Max. It has the biggest electronic water tank so it covers a bigger area. You can select water level output in the app tho I'd suggest using it on the highest settings, at least that's what I always do :) I've never tested the S6 Pure so I can't say whether it will be as good as the S5 Max but I did so with the Standard S6. On a daily basis, I would say both are good and you probably wouldn't notice the difference between the two. If your cleaning area is large, you might need a bigger water tank. With the S6 Pure tho, you could fill the tank a few times as it mops.
If you don't want to use the app to switch between mopping modes, you can get the S6 Pure, it has a toggle so you manually switch it on the water tank.

With the S5 Max, you can customize cleaning modes (suction and water level) for each room, so you can set a high level for the kitchen only.

But if you use the robot pretty much every other day, you wouldn't see the difference between the two in terms of performance (except for the water tank size).

Hi there. The Roborock S50 and S55 are a Roborock S5. The second number stands for the robot's color. The Roborock S55 is black; the Roborock S50 is white.
The Roborock S5 Max is an upgraded version of the S5 with better mopping technology, full multiple maps support, a bigger water tank, no-mop zones, scheduling for mopping only etc. The S5 is getting hard to find as it's an aging model.

The T7 is a Chinese version, it only works in China and this is the reason why it is not included in the comparison table. The Roborock S5 Max is a similar robot vacuum with 2,000 Pa of suction instead of 2,500 Pa.

Hey Amit, you are right, the S6 MaxV is smarter than the T7 as it has a front camera so the robot can see some objects and avoids them. The T7 lacks this feature. In terms of specifications, they are very similar to the T7 but the S6 MaxV is the most advanced robot vacuum on the market so far :)

Hi, Ken. Sorry, I don't know which model has the same dustbin. Try to reach out to Roborock customer support, hope they can tell you if you can use the dustbin from other models or suggest where to buy the replacement.

Hey, Martin, thank you so much for pointing out about the shutting off suction function, I have fixed that. And yes, you are right about the height of the robot vacuum, I have included that to the table too. For some people, it might make a difference before choosing the Roborock :)

Hey there. The S6 MaxV is quiet enough but not as quiet as the Roborock S6 because it has stronger suction. I would say it is in the middle between the S6 and S5 Max.

If your floor is not too big and you know the robot finishes cleaning on one charge, you can put it there without a dock to create a map. Once it finishes, it will return to the same point where it has started. The next time when you put it to the same level, it will recognize its location no matter where you put it. It can not recognize the area if it doesn't have a created map of this floor.

I would not say the S4 is made especially for the US. Such, you can find it on Amazon UK and DE (official Roborock seller). It works without any problems in any European country even if you buy it from the Amazon US, and you can use your region in the app settings. All the Roborock models support 110/220V. Depending on where you get it, there might be a different plug type, but you can use a plug adapter in this case or replace the whole cable (the charging dock has a standard figure 8 cable). The problem may be only if you purchase the Chinese version of the product, however, I'm not sure if the Chinese version of the S4 even exists (there are China locked versions for the S5 and S6, but I haven't heard about the S4).

Thanks for your comment, Steve. I've added the noise level. Regarding the dustbin, according to Roborock, the S5 Max has a 460 ml dustbin. I've filled it with water and it holds exactly 460 ml as the manufacturer claims. Probably you have seen this in the latest Vacuum Wars video, but it looks like he just made a mistake.

Probably you are talking about the Xiaomi Mi Robot. As mentioned in the article, this model was made by Roborock but released under the Xiaomi brand (Xiaomi is an investor and partner of Roborock). This model is not mentioned on the official Roborock website, so we didn't include it in this comparison. Here is a comparison between all the Xiaomi robot vacuums. Xiaomi collaborates not only with Roborock but also with Viomi and maybe other robot vacuum cleaner manufacturers.

It supports Google Home and Alexa, but only with the Mi Home app, since the Roborock app doesn't work with voice assistants currently. However, it seems like Roborock already testing Google Home and Alexa skills for the Roborock app, check out this Facebook post.

Have you a Roborock S4? Because I have it on Mi Home app (like many other devices) and I linked the Mi Home service to Google Home app, but noone S4 is showed on Google Home app.
Did you manage to do it maybe? I would like it so much!

I just tried to use the Roborock S4 with Google Home and was not able to find it in the device list. Sorry for the misleading info, I thought that if the S5 and S6 work with Google Home, then the S4 should work as well. Just asked Roborock support about it and received this response:

We are sorry to tell us S4 doesn't support google home at present and we are working to make it support. Hope you can wait with patience.

Thanks, we try to make less confusion about naming because many people think Roborock is Xiaomi which is not true.
The article updates regularly and thanks for giving an idea of what have I missed here.

I have never tested the Roborock Xiaowa E2/E3, I only had the Roborock Xiaowa Lite which is no longer on the market. Since I don't have it anymore, I'm not sure about this model, as far as I remember, it had the same brush as the Roborock S5.

The Roborock S4, S5, and S6, however, have the same brush except for the S5 which brush is solid and has fewer bristles. You can switch the brushes of the S6 to the S5 if you want to. Same goes for the side brush and filters. The S5 and S6 even can share the same container, the Roborock S4 has a bigger one but the brush and filter fit into other models.
