Features Comparison Chart

What are the biggest differences between the Xiaomi Mi Robot and Eufy 11S

  1. The Mi Robot works longer covering more in one charge
  2. Recharge & resume makes the Xiaomi returns to the charging dock when its battery runs out of energy, recharge and get back to finish cleaning from the same spot it left off
  3. The Xiaomi Mi Robot is equipped with the LDS laser than scans an interior creating a plan of cleaning area which the robot follows until it covers the whole zone. The Eufy does not come with mapping
  4. Navigation: the Xiaomi moves in straight lines following the created map, the Eufy has a random algorithm and runs around until its battery is out of charge
  5. Virtual walls. In the box with the Eufy, there is a magnetic tape that keeps the vacuum from entering some areas. The Xiaomi Mi Robot uses digital boundaries. You can draw a rectangle inside the Mi Home app to prevent the robot from crossing the chosen zone
  6. Zone cleaning. With the Mi Home app, you can create a specific area where you want the Xiaomi to work
  7. Real-time mapping. When the Xiaomi is building a plan of the layout, you can watch it in the app. The three processors inside the robot allow tracking its movements in real-time
  8. Noise. The Eufy works quieter
  9. Remote controller. The Mi Robot comes with app and can be controlled via Alexa-enabled devices or Google Home. The Eufy 11S can only be controlled by a physical remote controller
  10. HEPA filter. Inside the Xiaomi there is a HEPA filter that is ideal for people with allergy and asthma
  11. Big homes vs. small homes. The Xiaomi Mi Robot is more suitable for average and bigger homes because of longer battery life and a purposeful moving algorithm. The Eufy 11S is ideal for smaller homes
  12. Stronger suction. The Xiaomi has stronger suction that is able to clean thin and medium-pile carpets deeper. The Eufy is suitable for thin carpets and can clean some thicker rugs
  13. BoostIQ. The Eufy automatically switches cleaning mode to max once it identifies carpeted surface. The Xiaomi does not have such a feature
  14. Height. The Eufy is shorter which makes it fit under most furniture
  15. Price. The Eufy 11S costs cheaper than the Xiaomi Mi Robot.

Which robot vacuum is better for your needs: Xiaomi Mi Robot or Eufy RoboVac 11S?

The Eufy 11S is budget. Let's not forget that it costs half of the Xiaomi price. In terms of cleaning performance, the Xiaomi does better because of stronger suction. On the other hand, if your home is a bare floor and you don't need an app to control the robot, the Eufy 11S is a decent robot vacuum to buy. It has long battery life, strong suction, short body, and a budget price tag.

The Xiaomi Mi Robot is one of a few budget robot vacuum with mapping based on LIDAR technology. Thanks to the longest battery life in the industry, the robot is ideal for big homes. Because of strong suction, the Mi Robot is able to get rid of pet hair on bare floor and carpets that are not thicker than 15 mm. LIDAR makes cleaning more efficient since the robot spends less time and not go over the same spots twice. The Mi Home app offers to create virtual boundaries, zone cleaning, track it in real-time, etc. If you are not tight on budget, the Xiaomi Mi Robot will absolutely worth buying.

I'm wondering which robot to choose. I have bare floor and Carpets. We're 3 girls with long hair. Eufy or xiaomi and which one is better for us. I don't really need wi-fi but if the robot has it, it's OK. Thanks a lot for all your reviews.

Hi Mery, the Xiaomi Mi Robot is an old device. I would recommend having a look at the Xiaomi MiJia 1C. For carpets, you've got to have a robot with strong suction. Here is the eufy comparison. Have a look at the models with "Max" in naming.

For long hair, consider getting a robot with an easy-to-maintain cleaning brush. That might be a rubber brush or one with detachable side tips. I would also have a look at the Roborock S4 Max if you don't need mopping. And if you have a big house, you need a robot with a big battery too.

Best,
Natalie
