Im new at smart robots and i have a problem with Viomi v2
About 1-2 minutes after starting the Robot Vacuum Cleaner, it stops operating.
we bought it about 3 months ago and there was no such problem 1-2 months ago

I don't have the same machine as you do but i did have the same problem.
I have the vacuum at the center of my house (the living room) and the vacuum would clean half of the living room and then say task completed and go to charge. I google for an answer and i found this thread and read "reset the device or reset the map" and i thought that can't be a way to solve the problem and then it came to me, what if i split the room in 2 from what it cleans and what it doesn't and it worked. It cleans half of the living room then cleans the rest of the house and then cleans the other half of the living room successfully completing it's task and go to charge. And to anyone who wonders no i did not reset anything.

It was starting the new map, but after 10 minutes it was stopping without finishing.
Anyway, I figured out somehow, I reseted the device twice (hard reset and soft reset) and I selected first time to do edges, it started again to do a new map and finally finished. After this it started to act normal.
I am having the same issue. I reseted the device and the problem is still there. It stops in the middle of the task. I deleted the map, in this moment he is not abble to remap all the house, because it’s just stops. No message from it at all. My house it’s 50sqm.
Maybe the map is distorted which makes the robot think that it already cleaned the whole place. Did you try to delete the map and create a new one? Also, try to start cleaning from another room and check if the issue persists. If that doesn't help, you can try to hard reset the device, here is a video on how to reset the Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Mop P (which is identical to the Viomi V2). After the hard reset, you should pair the robot with the app again as a new device.
