Roomba 650 is one of the oldest machines from iRobot family. It is one of the cheapest robot vacuum cleaners that has all the basic features to clean your floor. It performs good on carpets (not the thick ones) and catch pet hair on bare floors. The machine is equipped with sensors that prevent it from bumping into things and falling down from stairs. There is one virtual wall included in the box that block the robot from crossing a "not-to-go" areas. Auto-recharge option makes Roomba 650 to get to recharge on its own.

Pros & Cons of iRobot Roomba 650

Doesn't Have Mapping / Path Planning Feature

The iRobot Roomba 650 doesn't have a path planning feature. It comes with a random pattern that takes a little bit longer to clean compared to devices with a "mapping" feature. However, it still good for small or medium homes.

Not Too Strong Suction Power

The suction power of the iRobot Roomba 650 is not too strong (600Pa) but is still enough to clean thin carpets/rugs and bare floors. Perfect for mostly bare flooring or mixed surfaces.

No Smartphone App / Wi-Fi Support

The cleaner does not support Wi-Fi and doesn't have a smartphone app.

Amazon Alexa Not Supported

The model is not compatible with any voice assistant such as Amazon Alexa or Google Home and cannot be controlled by voice.
