The biggest difference between the two is the mopping system and the station that is designed for each:
- The T50 MAX PRO Omni uses two mopping pads and has no onboard water tanks. It returns to the dock to wash the pads and then picks up from where it left off.
- The T80 Omni has the newest OZMO roller and two onboard water tanks for clean and waste water that continuously keep the roller clean during the mopping cycle.
The self-cleaning station:
Both robots have the advanced station, however
The T50 Max Pro Omni includes a solution dispenser, while the T80 Omni fills the onboard water tank with hot water.
ECOVACS DEEBOT T50 MAX PRO Omni
The T50 MAX PRO Omni uses the newest Blast Tech:
- Powerful suction lifts dirt, high airflow clears it away fast. While others chase higher suction at the cost of the battery, BLAST optimizes both; it delivers faster, deeper, and more efficient cleaning.
Key features:
- More power
- Blast tech
- YIKO voice assistant
- Lifts the pad to 18 mm
- Auto solution refill
- Better climbing ability
DEEBOT T50 MAX PRO Omni
Has a short body
With Blast Tech, the robot optimizes higher airflow and stronger suction without losing runtime.
Blast Tech helps to get deeper into carpets
With two rotating rollers, the robot extends a side brush and a pad along the walls for better corner cleaning. It returns to the dock to wash the pads when needed.
The station has all the features from the previous models, and in addition, it automatically fills the solution and chooses the right temperature for each room based on the floor's dirtiness.
Powerful for carpet cleaning, smooth for mopping experience
ECOVACS DEEBOT T80 OMNI
The robot has a completely new mopping system that outperforms other robots in mopping tests.
Upgrades:
- OZMO roller
- 2 onboard water tanks
- Zero-Tangle 3.0 technology
- Hot water tank refill
- Auto LED light
DEEBOT T80 Omni
Has a short body
The robot doesn't have Blast technology, yet its new mopping system makes a difference in mopping tests compared to other robots.
The new mopping system consumes less water
The T80 Omni has two onboard water tanks and the newest OZMO roller. Thanks to the two tanks, the robot uses less water compared to a traditional mopping system when it returns to the dock to wash the pads.
The robot fills an onboard water tank with hot water, unlike the previous model, which does not do so.
Auto LED light helps it to scan the surroundings to sense and avoid objects.
To sum up
The DEEBOT T50 MAX PRO Omni is a great buy with the newest Blast tech, better climbing ability, and a solution dispenser. The great robot, if you don't need advanced mopping but need more power for deep carpet cleaning.
With the newest mopping system, the DEEBOT T80 Omni outperforms other robots in mopping tests. Even tho it doesn't have Blast tech, it still has lots of power and the best mopping system ever to test.
