The two are the latest high-end models that share many things.
Key difference
HyperForce Suction vs. BLAST Airflow Suction
HyperForce is Roborock's leading power suction technology.
Blast is the newest system that combines high suction and 3x airflow for better performance without draining the battery.
Body height
Neither robots have an LDS tower, which keeps the body low profile. However, the Roborock is shorter.
Mopping technology
The Deebot has two onboard water tanks for clean and waste water that continuously keep the OZMO roller clean.
The Roborock uses two mopping pads and one onboard water tank.
Self-cleaning station
In addition to what the OMNI station does, the Multi-Functional Dock self-cleans with hot water and adds hot water to the tank before mopping.
uses hot water to fill the tank and for self-cleaning.
ECOVACS DEEBOT X9 PRO Omni
The newest X9 Pro has a zero-tangle system, an anti-tangle side brush, and a V-shaped roller brush that prevents hair wrapping.
Key features:
- BLAST Airflow Suction
- triple lift
- OZMO roller for mopping
- Two onboard water tanks
Ecovacs DEEBOT X9 Pro OMNI
A new Blast Tech that provides deep carpet cleaning
Unlike the Roborock, the DEEBOT uses an OZMO roller and two onboard water tanks. With AI, the robot intelligently detects stains and adapts its cleaning strategy based on severity:
- For light stains (e.g., milk, juice), it performs three concentrated scrubbing passes.
- For tough stains (e.g., soy sauce, coffee), it executes a thorough multi-step process: grid-pattern deep cleaning from the edges inward, automatic mop refreshing, and a follow-up grid cycle, ensuring complete stain removal while protecting floor surfaces.
Depending on the cleaning situation, a triple lift system lifts the mop on carpets to prevent wetting, raises the side brush for large debris, and lifts the main brush to avoid contamination from spills.
A new Blast technology combines suction and airflow for deep carpet cleaning
While higher suction drains battery life, Blast optimizes both by 3x airflow and strong suction, delivering deeper cleaning and extending runtime.
More pickup efficiency, better carpet cleaning
Even tho the robot has lower suction numbers, thanks to the Blast, it has more efficiency at deep carpet cleaning.
The upgraded station has three washing modes and dries the pads at a higher temperature than the Roborock.
Roborock Saros 10R
The Roborock Saros uses a different navigation and object recognition technology and is lower than the DEEBOT, which helps the robot reach under most furniture.
Key features:
- Hot water tank refill
- Side brush extend & rectract
- Hot water station self-cleaning
- AdaptiFift chassis helps to climb up to 1.4 in
- 4x lift system (chassis, side brush, roller, mops)
- Short body
The robot uses two rotating pads and one onboard water tank. However, even tho the DEEBOT continuously keeps the roller fresh and clean, the Roborock's station fills the tank with hot water.
Along the walls, the Roborock extends a mopping pad and a side brush. To prevent the collisions, it lifts and retracts a side brush.
AdaptiLift Chassis helps the Saros 10R cross a higher obstacle
With a 4x lift system, the robot smartly knows when to raise the chassis, roller brush, mopping pads, or side brush.
Also, it smartly suggests no-go zones and adapts the cleaning strategy to the surroundings it scanned.
Which one to get?
The Ecovacs DEEBOT X9 Pro OMNI uses a completely different mopping system and features new suction technology.
The Roborock Saros 10R has a more featured station and a shorter body.
Both are high-end devices with advanced technology. It depends on design preferences and what king of a mopping system you want.
