The two seem very similar, with the same mopping system, cleaning mechanics, and an advanced self-cleaning station.

Roborock mopping technology:

  • Features dual mops
  • Lifts the mops on the carpets
  • Extend the mop along the walls and around furniture
  • Washes and dries the mops at the station

Roborock Saros 10R

Upgraded station

Roborock Saros 10R

The richest in features robot mop

One of the best on the market

Unlike CurvX, the Saros has advanced obstacle avoidance and the newest navigation system. Its station is rich-featured, and the robot adapts its lifting design to the cleaning environment.

Smart Plan 2.0 adapts cleaning settings, relying on how often the household has been cleaned.

Carpet cleaning strategy either involves avoiding it, lifting the mopping pads (on a short-pile carpet), or leaving the pads at the station.

Auto mop removal in a Vacuum-only mode

StarSight Autonomous System

A revolutionary new navigation system that knows many objects to avoid; a solid Lidar that scans the surroundings in 3D. Thanks to that, the robot has a shorter body.

Roborock Qrevo CurvX

The CurvX series has a unique self-cleaning station.

Qrevo CurvX

A different station

Hides LDS under furniture

The mopping system remains the same, only it doesn't tell the difference between dry and liquid stains.

Compared to the Saros, the CurvX doesn't leave the mops at the station and has no dispenser.

A cheaper alternative to the Saros 10R

Has a differently-shaped station

RetractSense

The Upward Range Finder accurately measures overhead clearance, ensuring the LiDAR retracts or rises at the right moment for smooth, uninterrupted navigation.

Unlike the Saros, which is flat, the CurvX hides the LDS tower under furniture.

The CurvX lacks:

  • mop removal
  • detergent dispenser
  • flexiarm riser (rises and retracts a side brush near obstacles)

Instead, the CurvX features a different navigation system that retracts the LDS tower under furniture and older obstacle avoidance technology.

Which one to get?

Depending on design preference, it depends on what you want. The Saros 10R's station is sleeker and minimalist.

The Roborock Saros 10R is the latest and most-featured robot vacuum on the market. It would be more precise by avoiding objects and doing its job smartly, so you don't have to set it.

The Qrevo CurvX is a great buy if you want to save a dollar and get all the premium features and latest technology.
