Roborock Qrevo Pro vs. QV 35S

The Qrevo series covers a wide range of models. When comparing the Qrevo Pro with the QV 35S, it might be confusing which one to get when one has more mopping options, and the other one seems to be more powerful.

Roborock mopping system

The FlexiArm mopping upgrades over the standard two-mopping pad system: it extends the mopping pad when the robot runs along the walls or around furniture.

  1. Mopping pads lift
  2. Mopping pad extension (Qrevo Pro)
  3. Washing the pad
  4. Auto drying with hot air (Qrevo Pro)
  5. Auto-filling the water tank

Fill the water container with water and start the robot. After washing the pads, the station fills the other container with waste water.

Multi-functional dock options:

  • Self-emptying
  • Washing and drying the pads
  • Filling the water tank
  • Has a detachable washboard

The maintenance part is filling the water container with clean water and emptying the container with waste water. Wash the washboard once in a while.

The Roborock Pro's advanced station (Multi-functional Dock 2.0) features Dirt Detection and washes the pads with hot water.

Qrevo Pro upgrades over the QV 35S:

For mopping

Qrevo Pro

Better for carpets

Smartly adapts the cleaning strategy

What is Dirt Detection?

The sensors sense when the mopping pads need to be washed, so the robot returns to the base for washing.

When the robot sees dirty areas, it mops these areas one more time.

Why the Qrevo Pro mopping is better?

Washing the pads with hot water might not seem like a big deal, but it is if you use the mops often.

Dirt Detection is another option that adds value to the Qrevo Pro.

The Qrevo Pro's mopping adds more value

QV 35S upgrades over the Qrevo Pro:

For mopping

QV 35S

Better for carpets

Smartly adapts the cleaning strategy

What is SmartPlan?

SmartPlan adapts the cleaning strategy by setting suction level and mopping modes for each room based on previous cleaning.

Better for homes with carpets

The QV 35S mopping lacks some options compared to the Pro modification, making the QV35S suitable for homes with carpets mostly.

Summing up

The QV 35S is if vacuuming is your priority. SmartPlan and extra suction make a difference in homes covered mostly with carpets. If you don't need mopping as much, go with the QV 35S.

However, the Qrevo Pro is a great value if mopping is your priority. Even tho the robot isn't as powerful, it features gold options for mopping, so if you are planning on using the mopping every other cleaning cycle, go with the Pro.
