The mopping robot from iRobot Braava Jet m6 finally got an update and received Keep Out Zones (No-Mop zones) meaning the Braava m6 is able to avoid carpets when is mopping. This feature is ideal for keeping your robot away from pet bowls, clutter, or other areas where your robot has difficulty navigating. No more wet carpets when the m6 is operating, with Keep Out Zones your surface is safe.
The previous generations used physical Virtual Wall Barriers to do so but they were limited and now Roomba supports virtual walls that can be shaped the way you need it. You can set as many Keep Out Zones as you want by using the iHome app. Not only the m6 gets an update, the Roomba i7+, and s9+ also have it.
iRobot is the first company that has established no-go zones into camera-based robots.
