Brand-new mopping technology
The two have a similar new-brand mopping system that contains two onboard water containers and a roller brush.
The advantages of this system are:
- Continuously cleans the roller
- Consumes less water
Unlike the eufy, the DEEBOT's TrueEdge technology extends the roller and a side brush along the walls.
Self-cleaning station
The stations follow the same functions: self-empty, self-wash, self-dry, auto-fill, and detergent dispensing.
The DEEBOT's station features extras like choosing at what temperature to wash the roller, depending on the room the robot is cleaning.
The dirt detection senses mop dirtiness and mops the heavily soiled areas, returns to the dock for a wash to clean the area for a second time.
The main difference:
Mopping: The DEEBOT extends the roller and a side brush along the walls. With AI help, it senses dirty areas and mops them twice.
Cleaning mechanics: The DEEBOT has more power and is better suited to homes with carpets.
Self-cleaning station: The eufy's station can be controlled with touch control and has a detergent dispenser, while the DEEBOT automatically adjusts water temperature during a roller wash.
Navigation technology: The DEEBOT maps the room with an LDS while the eufy uses an RGB camera.
eufy Robot Vacuum Omni S1 Pro key features:
- HydroJet System
- Auto detergent dispensing
- Ozonated water
- Station with touch control
- Upgraded obstacle recognition
- See-through water tank
The HydroJet System is a technology with two onboard water tanks (for clean and waste water) that keeps the roller continuously clean.
The top-tier robot and a different all-in-one station. The body holds two water containers for clean and waste water, so compared to its competitors, the S1 Pro is built differently.
A unique self-cleaning station with touch control
TruCourse mapping leverages advanced dToF LIDAR, thanks to which the robot has a short body that gets under most furniture.
10-in-1 UniClean Station offers auto emptying, auto washing, auto refilling, auto heated air drying, Eco-Clean Ozone, auto wastewater collection, auto detergent dispensing, LCD touch control, sealed dust bag, and 20% faster charging*.
*Based on the eufy internal test, charging is 20% faster than the previous generation's.
A newer design body is made for corner cleaning. When mopping, the robot lifts its mop by 0.5 inches to keep the carpet dry.
The powerful DEEBOT T80 Omni
Key features:
- Ozmo mopping system
- More power
- Roller and side brush extension
- Room-based temperature cleaning
- Zero-tangle technology 3.0
- AI instant re-mop 2.0
DEEBOT T80 Omni
Has a short body
This robot features an advanced station, dirt detection capabilities, and automatically adjusts water temperature based on the room.
Unlike the eufy, the T80 OMNI station does not have a detergent dispenser.
The DEEBOT T80 Omni is suitable for deep carpet cleaning
AI Instant Re-Mop 2.0 leaves no stain uncleaned
- Recognizes dirt for custom cleaning, tackles tough stains.
- Efficient path planning for fast, clean results.
The new side brush design resists hair tangles better.
Which one to buy
The DEEBOT T80 Omni seems like a better option with edge cleaning and more power. I would recommend buying it for carpeted homes and pet owners.
However, the eufy S1 Pro is the only robot with ozoned water, the station has touch screen control, and fills the water tank with a mix of detergent and water.
It all depends on the station's look since the eufy station is transparent and sleek, and if you don't need extra power, the two look similar. For carpeted areas, I would go with a DEEBOT, tho.
