Ecovacs deebot ozmo robot life cycle n durability?

Hi

I just wanted to understand the durability /expected life of ecovacs robot vaccums. Generally, Can i expect them to last 18-24 months if I vaccum+mop 1500 sft everyday on smooth polished marble floor.

Also what's the real world life of its consumables like filter, mop fabric, brush and side brushes.

Background: I have a duplex house of 3000 sft total. Hence I have shortlisted ecovacs ozmo 950 (price in India 520 USD) due to its excellent battery. Even after 6-12 months of usage, I am expecting that 950's battery will be able to clean 1500 sft in one charge and hence I will not need to move the charger up. Only taking a fully charged robot to the second level would suffice especially with its multi level mapping ability.

Kindly advice if I should consider any other robot over ozmo 950. T8 series is not yet launched in India. My requirement is vaccum+mop 1500 sft everyday on mostly smooth polished marble with negligible rugs/carpets. Roborock are quite costly in india compared to usa prices while ecovacs seem better priced here.

Your advice would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Krunal,
Hard to say how reliable are Ecovacs robots. We've never tested any Ecovacs model. Hope someone who owns the Ecovacs Deebot 950 can suggest something here.
I don't think the filter, mop, and side brushes are any different from other similar devices, so based on my experience, the roller brush should be replaced approximately once per year, side brushes twice per year, and filter twice per year of daily usage. But it's an approximate lifespan, I guess it may last longer and you don't need to replace the brush if it looks good and doing its job.

Thanks so much. I just needed a general life span of all these.
Generally vaccum robots of similar brands survive for a couple of years?
I have never used one hence this confusion.

Yeah, in most cases it should survive for 3-7 years. This article claims that the average lifespan of a robot vacuum is 5 years.
There are still unlucky users who have some issues within a few months, but such cases are rare. Probably the battery may die within a few years, but there should be replacements on the market.
Besides the accessories (brushes, filter, mopping pad), the weakest parts of robot vacuums are these where the motors used: Lidar, suction fan, wheels, brush motors. Usually, these parts can be easily replaced and there are video tutorials for some robot vacuums, I just not sure if such replacement parts will be available on the market within a few years.

Thanks soo much. That's the exact info I was looking for. I will be delighted if I can get 3 years of service from it. Anything more will be a bonus.
Someone told me they are very fragile and dont last over a year, hence this apprehension. Further, in India this is still a very upcoming product. So service/replacement will be a issue.
