Self-washing station
Adaptive Intelligent PowerDock features:
- Auto-empty.
- Auto-fill water & detergent.
- Auto-wash the mopping pads and washboard.
- Drying the mopping pads.
The X series has a redesigned compact station and a detergent tank compatible with any detergent.
AceClean Dryboard washes & dries the washboard removing odors
The Dreame X40 Master has a Drainage system.
Navigation and obstacle avoidance
The X series' obstacle avoidance uses 3D structured light and AI action.
VersaLift rectracts the LDS tower under funtiure, navigating by an ultra-powerful AI camera.
Mopping technology
The Dreame uses the most common mopping technology with two pads that rotate. Features:
- Double rotating mopping pads.
- Mopping pads rise (on carpets) and extend (along the walls).
- Auto solution added.
- RoboSwing swings the pads to get deeper into corners.
- Wash and dry the pads with hot water and air.
- Intelligently detects stains, re-washes, and re-mops them.
The X series lacks a hot water refill, which has become common among the leading robots.
Dreame X30 Ultra
The Dreame X30 Ultra is the oldest robot vacuum with premium features that lack some options like side brush lift & extend, etc. Yet, it is enough for hard floors and pet owners.
Not for deep carpet cleaning
Compared to the next gen, the X30 Ultra lacks:
- Side brush lift
- OK Dreame voice control
- Stronger suction
- Advanced object recognition.
The Dreame X30 Ultra is a good value among the premium robots, yet it is not suitable for deep carpet cleaning. However, it is a good choice for hard floors and surface carpet cleaning.
Dreame X40 Ultra
Upgrades over the Dreame X30 Ultra:
- OK Dreame voice control
- More power
- Drainage system support (Master modification)
- Side brush lift
- Higher temperature for pad washing
- Identifies more objects to avoid
The next gen has more power, dirt detection, and lifts the side brush.
Extends a side brush and mop to reach walls and corners
The Dreame X40 Ultra is one of the best robots on the market. It doesn't have the latest features, but it is great for the price.
Auto Refilling & Draining
Dreame X40 Master
Ultra-Compact & hands-free Station
The 8-in-1 hands-free base station features:
- auto refilling and draining
- self-cleaning washboard
- automatic mop self-cleaning with hot water
- convenient auto-emptying
- solution refilling
- quick charging for uninterrupted cleaning sessions
X40 Master's base station automatically swaps out used water for fresh, ensuring nonstop cleaning without your constant attention.
Advanced Color Sensing Technology
X40 Master's upgraded five-channel detection via our new color-sensing technology ensures precise results by accurately detecting the color of used water, guaranteeing thorough cleaning with every mop wash.
Dreame X50 Ultra
The Dreame X50 Ultra is the best robot vacuum in the lineup so far. It is equipped with the Industry-First ProLeap system, which is a step that helps the robot to climb up to 1.65in.
The ProLeap works the way of a two-layer threshold, where the gap between steps should be greater than 1.57in.
Smart Dirt Detection 2.0 checks the water to find stains and gives them a deep clean. This tech can tell apart solids, liquids, or a mix, making sure every spot is gone for a perfect clean.
Upgrades over the X40 Ultra:
- Higher crossing ability
- Advanced dirt detection
- Stronger suction
- Dual brushroll system
- Rectracts LDS under furniture
- AceClean DryBoard self-cleans with hot water & dries the washboard after
- Hot water pads washing
Depending on cleaning tasks, the robot lifts the roller, mopping pads, and a side brush. This is the only robot in the series that uses two rollers.
The first two roller systems (bristled & rubber) maintain hair tangles and do the job on carpet and hard floor surfaces
The AceClean DryBoard cleans and dries the dashboard so it doesn't stink after mopping.
Cleaning mechanics upgrades:
- Better carpet cleaning because of stronger suction.
- Higher obstacles crossed thanks to the ProLeap.
- Efficient pick up with dual roller system.
- Reaches under most furniture when retracting the LDS tower.
- Leaves no residue on the washboard after washing.
Which one to buy?
The Dreame X30 Ultra is not for deep carpet cleaning, yet it is a good buy for hard floors and surface cleaning.
The Dreame X40 Ultra is a polished robot vacuum that works as smoothly as possible, only lacks some of the upgrades the X50 Ultra has.
The Dreame X50 Ultra is the latest and most-featured robot vacuum. It climbs a higher obstacle, hides LDS without reducing the quality of the created map, washes and dries the dashboard so it doesn't stink after some time, and has two rollers for better performance. However, because it's new, some users notice the robot stepping over obstacles rather than avoiding them, which affects navigation. So if you are willing to wait for the software update that Dreame should release, get one. If you want the robot that works the way it should, have a look at the Drfeame X40 Ultra for now.
