Self-washing station

Adaptive Intelligent PowerDock features:

  1. Auto-empty.
  2. Auto-fill water & detergent.
  3. Auto-wash the mopping pads and washboard.
  4. Drying the mopping pads.

The X series has a redesigned compact station and a detergent tank compatible with any detergent.

AceClean Dryboard washes & dries the washboard removing odors

The Dreame X40 Master has a Drainage system.

Navigation and obstacle avoidance

The X series' obstacle avoidance uses 3D structured light and AI action.

VersaLift rectracts the LDS tower under funtiure, navigating by an ultra-powerful AI camera.

Mopping technology

The Dreame utilizes the most common mopping technology, featuring two rotating pads. Features:

  • Double rotating mopping pads.
  • Mopping pads rise (on carpets) and extend (along the walls).
  • Auto solution added.
  • RoboSwing swings the pads to get deeper into corners.
  • Wash and dry the pads with hot water and air.
  • Intelligently detects stains, re-washes, and re-mops them.

The X series lacks a hot water refill, a feature that has become common among leading robots.

Best value

Best value

Dreame X40 Ultra

More power

Better obstacle avoidance

The next gen has more power, dirt detection, and lifts the side brush.

Extends a side brush and mop to reach walls and corners

The Dreame X40 Ultra is one of the best robots on the market. It doesn't have the latest features, but it is great for the price.

Auto Refilling & Draining

Best Mopping Cleaner

Dreame X40 Master

Ultra-Compact & hands-free Station

Self-cleaning mopping cleaner that is also capable of vacuuming

The 8-in-1 hands-free base station features:

  • auto refilling and draining
  • self-cleaning washboard
  • automatic mop self-cleaning with hot water
  • convenient auto-emptying
  • solution refilling
  • quick charging for uninterrupted cleaning sessions

X40 Master's base station automatically swaps out used water for fresh, ensuring nonstop cleaning without your constant attention.

Advanced Color Sensing Technology

X40 Master's upgraded five-channel detection via our new color-sensing technology ensures precise results by accurately detecting the color of used water, guaranteeing thorough cleaning with every mop wash.

The X50 Ultra

Compared with the newest X60 Ultra

The Dreame X50 Ultra is the best robot vacuum in the lineup so far. It is equipped with the Industry-First ProLeap system, which is a step that helps the robot to climb up to 1.65in.

The ProLeap works the way of a two-layer threshold, where the gap between steps should be greater than 1.57in.

Smart Dirt Detection 2.0 checks the water to find stains and gives them a deep clean. This tech can tell apart solids, liquids, or a mix, making sure every spot is gone for a perfect clean.

Best Mopping Cleaner

Dreame X50 Ultra

Can climb steps

Hides the LDS tower under furniture, has a double roller system

Depending on cleaning tasks, the robot lifts the roller, mopping pads, and a side brush. This is the only robot in the series that uses two rollers.

The first two roller systems (bristled & rubber) maintain hair tangles and do the job on carpet and hard floor surfaces

The AceClean DryBoard cleans and dries the dashboard so it doesn't stink after mopping.

Which one to buy?

The X40 Ultra is a polished robot vacuum that works as smoothly as possible, but it lacks some of the upgrades the X50 Ultra has.

The X50 Ultra is the latest and most-featured robot vacuum. It climbs a higher obstacle, hides LDS without reducing the quality of the created map, washes and dries the dashboard so it doesn't stink after some time, and has two rollers for better performance. However, because it's new, some users notice the robot stepping over obstacles rather than avoiding them, which affects navigation. So if you are willing to wait for the software update that Dreame should release, get one. If you want the robot that works the way it should, have a look at the Drfeame X40 Ultra for now.
