The L60 Series: What is the difference
The L60 Pro Ultra is the most advanced in the series.
The L60 Ultra has simpler obstacle crossing legs technology, yet it does not hide the LDS tower under furniture because it doesn't have one. The robot is the shortest of all.
The L60 Ultra PE lacks auto-mopping pad removal, crosses shorter obstacles, and its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced. It is also not as powerful.
The L60 Ultra PE lacks ProLeap or EasyLeap and has a simpler avoidance & navigation technology. It also doesn't have Dirt detection, which means the robot does not re-wash dirty areas if needed.
Mopping technology
The L series has the same rotating pads technology. Overall, there is no difference between the modifications.
Self-cleaning station features:
- Auto-emptying
- Washing the roller/pads with hot water
- Hot air drying the roller/pads
- Auto-filling solution
- Filling the water container
- Self-cleaning
- Dirt detection
L50 Ultra
Compared to the Mova, the L50 Ultra is an older-gen robot with standard mopping technology and LDS navigation. It knows fewer objects and its self-cleaning station is made for rotating mopping pads.
Mopping features:
- Two mopping pads.
- The side brush and pad extend along the obstacles.
- Wash and dry the pads after the job.
- Auto mop removal in a vacuuming-only mode.
- Add the solution to the water container.
- Lift the pads on carpet.
- RoboSwing & Mop extend
The Dreame L50 Ultra features the premium X series ProLeap system that ensures better climbing ability.
ProLeap system helps crossing higher obstacles
The station has the premium options such as hot water washing and drying the pads, water tank refill, cleaning solution, and self-emptying.
Upgraded station cleans & dries the washboard after self-cleaning
The upgraded AceClean DryBoard uses hot water for washing the pads and for self-cleaning. After that, it dries the washboard.
Compared to the L60 series, the L50 Ultra lacks:
- Better self-cleaning system
- Suction
- Crossing abilities
- Advanced navigation
L60 Pro Ultra
The Mova comes with an extra accessory kit, which is rare.
Upgrades:
- Stronger suction makes it better for carpets
- Higher crossing ability
- Better self-cleaning system
- Advanced avoidance technology
Smart Dirt Detection 2.0 checks the water to identify stains and provides a deep clean. This tech can tell apart solids, liquids, or a mix, making sure every spot is gone for a perfect clean.
Depending on cleaning tasks, the robot lifts the roller, mopping pads, and a side brush. It uses two rollers.
Compared to the L50 Ultra, this one has a shorter body that fits under most furniture.
Compared to the L50 Ultra, the L60 Ultra:
- Has more power, better for carpets
- ProLeap crosses higher obstacles
- Is shorter
- Has better self-cleaning technology
- Precisely avoids objects
To sum up
The new L60 series is an upgrade over the L50 and seems to be a better value.
Currently, it's not on sale.
