Key difference
18,000 Suction vs. BLAST Airflow Suction
Blast is the newest system that combines high suction and three times the airflow for better performance without draining the battery.
Navigation & obstacle avoidance
The premium X9 Pro uses AI to recognize and avoid objects and has an advanced navigation system.
Mopping technology
Both robots use OZMO mopping rollers and have two onboard water tanks that continuously keep the rollers clean. The robot extends the roller along the walls and lifts on carpets.
In addition, the X9 Pro lifts the brushroll and a side sweeper.
Self-cleaning station
The X9 Pro has an auto detergent dispenser and advanced dirt detection that uses AI to recognize stains.
ECOVACS DEEBOT T80 OMNI
Key features:
- Strong suction
- Two onboard water tanks
- OZMO roller
- Advanced self-cleaning station
DEEBOT T80 Omni
Has a short body
This robot has an advanced station that cleans itself with hot water, has Dirt Detection, and fills the water tank with water. The self-cleaning station adjusts the washing temperature depending on the room.
Unlike the X9 Pro OMNI, the T80 OMNI station does not auto-fill the solution and doesn't have Blast tech.
The DEEBOT T80 Omni is a cheaper option of the to-tier models
ECOVACS DEEBOT X9 PRO Omni
The robot adds:
- BLAST Airflow Suction
- Triple lift (side brush, OZMO roller, brushroll)
- Auto detergent dispenser
- YIKO voice assistant support
- Advanced Dirt Detection
DEEBOT X9 Pro OMNI
A new Blast Tech that provides deep carpet cleaning
With AI, the robot intelligently detects stains and adapts its cleaning strategy based on severity:
- For light stains (e.g., milk, juice), it performs three concentrated scrubbing passes.
- For tough stains (e.g., soy sauce, coffee), it executes a thorough multi-step process: grid-pattern deep cleaning from the edges inward, automatic mop refreshing, and a follow-up grid cycle, ensuring complete stain removal while protecting floor surfaces.
Depending on the cleaning situation, a triple lift system lifts the mop on carpets to prevent wetting, raises the side brush for large debris, and lifts the main brush to avoid contamination from spills.
A new Blast technology combines suction and airflow for deep carpet cleaning
While higher suction drains battery life, Blast optimizes both by 3x airflow and strong suction, delivering deeper cleaning and extending runtime.
More pickup efficiency, better carpet cleaning
Even tho the robot has lower suction numbers, thanks to the Blast, it has more efficiency at deep carpet cleaning.
The upgraded station has a detergent dispenser and advanced Dirt Detection.
Also, the newest robot vacuum supports Yiko voice assistant.
Which one to get?
The DEEBOT T80 Omni is an affordable version of the top-tier X9 Pro Omni. It lacks some features like triple lift, Blast, and detergent dispenser. However, it is a valid buy if you don't have carpets or don't need extra power for a deep carpet clean.
The DEEBOT X9 Pro OMNI is the king of the lineup with the newest and advanced technology. The robot is made for a comfortable mopping experience and deep carpet cleaning.
