The T series is more advanced than the N series, yet it is not as good as the premium X models.

The biggest difference between the two is the mopping system

The T80 OMNI has Ecovac's newest technology with two onboard tanks and a wide roller that continuously stays clean as the robot mops. For now, it is the most efficient and performs the best with stains compared to other systems.

The T30C has its double rotating roller system with no onboard dirty water tank, and the base does not adjust washing temperature based on the room.

Automatically fills the tank with detergent

Self-cleans with hot water

The T30C is the newest model with an advanced station (close to the premium X lineup), which has it all, only does not fill the tank with hot water.

The older-style mopping system is not as advanced, which makes the robot the best pick for those who don't have a large hard floor area.

When mopping, the robot extends a pad along the walls and into corners.

Unlike the T80 OMNI, the T30C lacks some extras; however, it comes with a premium self-cleaning station.

The newest

ECOVACS DEEBOT T80 Omni

Has a short body

The station detects which temperature to use for pad washing, depending on the room

This robot has a different mopping system that includes an OZMO roller that is tangle-free and gets cleaned during mopping, thanks to two onboard water tanks.

The OZMO mopping system consistently outperforms other technologies

Unlike the T30C, which has an advanced station, the T80 OMNI's station fills the tank with hot water, adjusts washing temperature depending on the room, and has Dirt Detection.

The robot lacks Blast tech and Solution autofill.

It has a smoother navigation thanks to the premium AIVI 3D 3.0 technology.

An alternative to the premium X9 Pro

Because the robot does not have an LDS tower, it is shorter and fits under most furniture.

Which one to buy?

The DEEBOT T80 Omni is obviously better with advanced navigation and the newest mopping system. Ideal for homes with a large hard floor area. Compared to the premium X9 Pro, it lacks some features but also has a reduced price.

The DEEBOT T30C is a cheaper alternative with stronger suction but older mopping technology. Suitable for homes with carpets and some hard floor areas, also is not the best for cluttered homes.

If you need the best mopping system, get the T80 OMNI.
