Best of both worlds challenge…

Can I get a suggestion? I have an all tile, cluttered and small home where mopping is my main objective. Can you tell me which robovacs mop in a Y pattern in addition to the Xiomi one please? I would like to get one that can maintain my floors clean every day.

The other issue is that vacuuming is also very important as we have a new kitten that likes to spread it’s cat litter outside the box.

After years of wanting one, I finally decided to get one and purchased a Shark Ion with Artificial Intelligence. We have many toys for grandkids and pets and that would avoid obstacles on its path with the camera. Only had it for a few days and it was a huge disappointment. I will say this, it was good about avoiding small obstacles in the floor, but was constantly bumping into furniture and getting tangled with cables or stuck between chairs. It was great getting hair, but just kept scattering the kitty litter instead of picking it up. Didn’t even try the mopping feature. Just returned it.

What can you recommend mid price range that would work well for both?

I could compromise in other features, but need those 2 and no zone selection.

Also, what do you think about all those brands that are cheaper knockoff‘s but with great reviews? Many have the same specs as the known brands you review here. These are sold and reviewed by Amazon shoppers that unfortunately I don’t trust anymore, so I go searching for reviews outside but those brands don’t have any. I suppose a risk would be any service needed after the sale could be an issue for those unknown companies, but if that weren’t the case, what do you think? I would think many of them may be done by the same big name companies, under another brand name…

Lastly, that’s possibly the case for  Everybot Edge. Do you know that product? Looked at Bissell and not great reviews for the spinner robot mop. The iRobot mop large one looks great, but it’s almost $400. So looking for another option.

I love your reviews. Have spent all day reading all of them and there are so many choices. So here’s a challenge for you… Prefer to find what I wanted to begin with: great mopping and pickup of debris on tile in 1 machine for around $500!   Is there such a thing???

I have a feeling if someone can find it that would be you! I look forward to your suggestion(s). I had asked under specific comparison you’d done but can’t remember which of the many I’ve read, and then I found this forum
