360 S7 vs Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Mop P for Mopping

Hi I am looking for a wet mop and have finalized based on reviews and budget. Can you please comment on which is better? We have no carpet house, so it will be used only on hardwood and marble floors. I wanted to understand if the water leaking tank is not an issue in every Xaiomi vaccum cleaner.

In India Xiaomi is getting launched for 40% lower price than S7. But I cant find too many reviews on Xiaomi.

Thank you for your help

Hi,

How has been your experience with the S6 so far. Thinking of buying one. Any suggestions would help.

is there a difference between the 360 s7 and s7 pro or are they the same machine?

Hi Mario. From what I can tell by searching around the internet, the S7 Pro is the same machine. The company might fix some bugs the previous version had and released a newly upgraded robot vacuum.

By looking at the specifications I can't see the difference between the 360 S7 and S7 Pro.

Hi Michael. Xiaomi is getting delayed by 2 more months :(. Now I see that 360 s6 is available in India through amazon. It is priced at $393 vs 360 s7 at $500 vs Ecovacs 950 at $600. Except for small water tank. I like the 360 S6 and its price point. With mopping being important, s6 seems like a good buy. Would you agree ?

Hi,
Yeah, I've heard that it's delayed until December 1. The 360 S6 is a decent robot vacuum, but I don't like that it doesn't recognize rooms. The ability to clean a specific room just by tapping on the map in the app is very convenient. The 360 S7 does recognize rooms, so that's why I prefer the S7. We tested both robots and noticed that the S7 has much better suction, and cleans carpets better. By the way, did you consider Roborock? They are a bit more expensive than 360 robots but better in terms of product quality and product support imho. Roborock robot vacuums also have the most accurate and efficient navigation I've seen so far.

Hi Michael,
Thanks for the reply. Roborock are very expensive in India at least from my research its around $800.

s7 is better I agree, right now trying to see if i want to put more cash towards this .

Hi Vamshi
So what did you finally buy. I am also confused. Ozmo 950 is on top of my mind but I am worried because it's non returnable which it was till last week while I was researching. Plus they have increased the price from 37900rs to 44900rs(currently 3000 off via coupon).
Can we talk. My number is 9700000678.

Hi Krunal I bought 360 s6. I didnt want to spend more than 30k as it was my 1st robo vaccum.

How's the preformance for our Indian households. Are you satisfied.
Is the cleaning anywhere close to what our maids provide us with? Can it replace manual cleaning in your opinion?
Any challenges you faced?

Hi,
I like the vaccum part of it.. its pretty smart in figuring out stuff and not bumping into things. Mopping is very OK, not much space in tank, so need to keep refilling it.
Thought about replacing it with 950, but not much service and spare parts available in India yet. So will stick to this and do some manual mopping from time to time.

I just bought the 950. So far so good.
Loved the multiple floor features. It auto detects its location and cleans. No need to carry dock to the second floor (except while mapping). Vaccums so well, that Mopping becomes irrelevant. Battery is fantastic. Software is slightly buggy though. Occasional glitches keep occurring. Thanks. Tc

Hi,
Not sure if the mopping issue related to all Xiaomi Mop P robot vacuums, but it is pretty common (check this post).
The 360 S7 receives firmware updates more frequently than the Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Mop P. The 360 app is smoother, more convenient, and just feels better than the Xiaomi Mi Home app. The 360 S7 has more efficient navigation and vacuuming performance, but considering that you don't have carpets, suction power is not as important. It also has no-mop and no-go zones (the Xiaomi has no-go zones only).
The Xiaomi Mop P, on the other hand, has a Y-shaped mopping pad which theoretically performs slightly better. It also has a bigger water tank and electric water output control (when the 360 S7 uses gravity water output). The Xiaomi vacuum rarely gets firmware updates even though there are some unfixed bugs in the app and the current firmware. But considering that it is much cheaper in your country, maybe its a better choice.
