After it has the map, Deebot builds the most efficient path of cleaning. The robot comes with a suction inlet so you can switch between it and the main brush in case you do not want pet hair or long human hair to tangle around the roller brush. The robot is also equipped with a soft durable protective bumper that will not scratch your furniture.
The app is actually amazing. Firstly, you can draw virtual walls or pinpoint specific areas on your smartphone so Deebot will not go where you do not want it to go. What issues the robots face
Even though all the robots are attractive on its own price, design or features, all of them have some problems so let's talk about it.
All the robots from ECOVACS have issues with connecting to wi-fi. They all work on 2,4 GHz speed so make sure you take care of the speed before trying to connect your robo.
ECOVACS Deebot N79S
N79S is the most popular model from ECOVACS and also works on 2,4GHz speed. Also get stuck from time to time but not that often as M80 do.
ECOVACS Deebot M80
M80 seems to get stuck. All the robots get stuck from time to time, just some might do it more often.
ECOVACS Deebot 900/901
There is not too much information about 900/901 around since it is a new model. But seems like it has the same issues with connecting to wi-fi because it works on 2.4GHz speed.
Roomba 690 stuck in places all the time. Because it has strong suction, it also is loud. Along with that Roomba bumps into everything very hard while other robots slow down when an obstacle is recognized.
Shark Ion 750
Shark Ion 750 needs time to connect to Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, the connection gets crashed up sometimes so you have to reconnect your device. Because of this problem, scheduling does not work if the machine lost Wi-Fi.
Neato Botvac D3 Connected
Because of its D-shape, Neato Botvac D3 Connected get stuck into tight spaces more than round ones. It also cannot stay connected to more than one device at once. Based on what consumers say, they occasionally get defective robots that Neato always replaces.
