Q: Can I set virtual boundaries for the iRobot Roomba i8+ to restrict it from going to certain places?

A: Yes, you can specify no-go zones (restricted areas) in the app. The robot will avoid these areas while cleaning.

A: Yes, but only along the vertical and horizontal axes. If you have a diagonal or curved wall, then you have to make a LOT of small rectangle boundaries to simulate a true boundary. Same with custom areas that you want to draw when you want to clean just a portion of a room.
