The Difference between the DEEBOT T8 AIVI and DEEBOT T8

As you might know, the DEEBOT T8 AIVI is equipped with a camera to detect objects. It avoids some objects which help it not getting stuck. This technology makes the T8 one of the smartest robot vacuum on the market.

The DEEBOT T8 AIVI and DEEBOT T8 have the same features and specifications. Both support a vibrating water tank mopping system. The self-emptying bin works with both models too and can be bought separately.

So what is the difference between the T8 AIVI and T8?

The DEEBOT T8 does not have a front camera and you can not use it as a security camera

Instead of the camera, it has 3D Advanced Technology called TrueDetect. This provides precise objects detection as small as a millimeter level to reduce getting the robot stuck. Because of better recognition, the robot navigates faster and smoother which helps it to finish cleaning quicker.

The T8 Pioneered TrueDetect 3D senses the size and calculates the distance to the objects and avoid collisions with them. Compared to the T8 AIVI, the T8 senses smaller objects and avoids them.

Other than that, both build an accurate map of the cleaning area, do mopping and sweeping, and have the same features.

To conclude:

The DEEBOT T8 does not have a camera and it does not allow streaming videos. It is more precise with object recognition and avoidance.
