So V7S Pro or Deebot N79?
Those robot vacuums have very similar specifications. Both robots have an automatic self-recharge function: when the battery is low the robot will go back to the charging base. V7S Pro and N79 have similar cleaning modes: auto-clean mode, edge cleaning mode and spot mode for targeted cleaning. There are the same sensors: IR anti-drop sensor (to avoid falling down the stairs), anti-collision sensors and soft bumper to protect your furniture better. However, there is no path planning function and mapping function, so the robots will randomly move around your rooms. They can be scheduled to work at the certain time. The robots have error alerts and can inform you when they stuck, the battery is low and so on.
If you need mopping function we would recommend you to buy ILIFE V8S Plus, it can mop and sweep. The water tank is equipped with a pump to control water supply. This robot also works little bit quieter (but has less suction power) and can run longer than Ecovacs on one charge. It equipped with bigger dust bin so you don't need to clean it so often. Looks like ILIFE perform a little bit better on carpets.
However, if you want the robot vacuum that can be controlled with your smartphone than you should go with Ecovacs Deebot N79. It also has a better suction power.
