So, the V7S Pro or the Deebot N79?

Those robot vacuums have very similar specifications. Both have an automatic self-recharge function: when the battery is low the robot will go back to the charging base. The V7S Pro and the N79 have similar cleaning modes: auto-clean, edge cleaning, and spot for targeted cleaning. There are the same sensors: the IR anti-drop sensor (to avoid falling down the stairs), anti-collision sensors and a soft bumper to protect your furniture. However, there is no path planning and mapping function, so the robots will randomly move around your rooms. They can be scheduled to work at a certain time. The robots have error alerts and can inform you when they get stuck, if the battery is low, and so on.

If you need a mopping function, we would recommend the ILIFE V8S Plus because it can mop and sweep. The water tank is equipped with a pump to control the water supply. This robot also works a little quieter (but has less suction power) and can run longer than the Ecovacs on one charge. It comes equipped with bigger dustbin so you don't need to clean it so often. It looks like the LIFE performs a little better on carpets.

However, if you want a robot vacuum that can be controlled with your smartphone, then you should go with the Ecovacs Deebot N79. It also has better suction power.
