There is very big flaw to this vacuum as I found out just 20 minutes into owning it. Its now on its way back to the retailer. If your house has rugs and tile or hardwood combination on one level your going to run into the same issue i did. The vacuum can tell wood floors or tiles from carpet the only thing is if you station your vacuum on carpet it can never start or go back to it with the mopping attachment on it. The machine needs to be on hardwood or tile to for it to work. Meaning if you have a room with carpet like a bedroom and you have a bathroom with tile the vacuum can only be brought into the mopping areas for use then you have to pick it up and take it back to its location because it won't go on rugs with the mopping attachment on. Also you have to bring the docking station to each floor you want cleaned. As for the vacuum part itself it did do a good job vacuuming, my suggestion is to buy one without the mopping system on it until they make one that can start from any type of floor determine what type of floor it is and mop and vacuum. Until then i am going with a more economical vacuum its not worth it yet......I tried 4 vacuums so far the ecovacs 950, eufy 30c max eufy 11s and samsung 9350. The 9350 was the worst out of all of them. Constantly getting stuck its big and bulky and cannot go under your typical furniture. Plus the vacuum broke in less then 15 months of using it maybe once a week.of all of them the 30c max was the best. It randomly roams the house but you can take it from.floor to floor drop it and start it and it vacuums. For me it did and very good job i was satisfied with it.. one thing i didn't like was the random path it took cleaning the.house.For the price you pay for the high end models I come.to the conclusion that you don't need to spend alot.of money to have your home cleaned. All.of these vacuum I PURCHASED!! no company sent me any for free so this is a honest review.

Thanks for sharing your experience with these robot vacuums.
Regarding this issue:

...only thing is if you station your vacuum on carpet it can never start or go back to it with the mopping attachment on it

It's not a good idea to use the robot vacuum with the mopping pad attached on carpets. Otherwise, the mopping pad will pick up the dust from your hardwood floor and then drag all the wet dirt collected on the mopping pad over your carpets. This will quickly make your carpet dirty. The dock supposed to be set on the hard floor if you planning to use the mopping feature.
