Generally vaccum robots of similar brands survive for a couple of years?
I have never used one hence this confusion.

Yeah, in most cases it should survive for 3-7 years. This article claims that the average lifespan of a robot vacuum is 5 years.
There are still unlucky users who have some issues within a few months, but such cases are rare. Probably the battery may die within a few years, but there should be replacements on the market.
Besides the accessories (brushes, filter, mopping pad), the weakest parts of robot vacuums are these where the motors used: Lidar, suction fan, wheels, brush motors. Usually, these parts can be easily replaced and there are video tutorials for some robot vacuums, I just not sure if such replacement parts will be available on the market within a few years.

Thanks soo much. That's the exact info I was looking for. I will be delighted if I can get 3 years of service from it. Anything more will be a bonus.
Someone told me they are very fragile and dont last over a year, hence this apprehension. Further, in India this is still a very upcoming product. So service/replacement will be a issue.
