So it does have an electronic water pump system? I was told it didn't?

So it does have an electronic water system? I was told it didn't have that?

Natalie Red ⋅ 3 years, 9 months ago #

It has an electronic water tank that allows you to set water flow by using the app.

Nicola ⋅ 3 years, 9 months ago #

I just received mine this morning. The proscenic m7 pro does not have the electronic water system. I believe the original m7 had this, but the m7 pro does not. Only a gravity fed system.

Natalie Red ⋅ 3 years, 9 months ago #

Yes, I saw on Amazon the M7 had an electronic water tank. Since the original M7 had it I assumed the Pro version would have it too.
I haven't tested it myself so I had no idea it had a gravity fed system. If you are going to leave it, be sure you remove the water tank after the robot finishes mopping as it can damage the charging base or the robot's motor.

Sorry for misleading you. I had no idea the robot comes with a non-electronic tank.

Thank you! Do you think that it’s better than the s5 max?

Natalie Red ⋅ 3 years, 10 months ago #

No, the Roborock S5 Max is better at cleaning, navigation, and the app. In addition, it has full multi-floor support.

Hi Natalie. Can it recognize carpets in mopping mode?

Natalie Red ⋅ 3 years, 10 months ago #

Hi Konstantinos, no it can not recognize carpets in mopping mode. To avoid carpets you have to set no-go zones.
You can watch this review to know more about the robot.

Hello
I have lenovo t1 pro.
It seems that t1 pro and m7 pro are so similar.
the removable dust bin and automatic dustbin are same.
t1 pro doesnt have Y mopping funtion.
lenovo said they developed lenovo t1 pro for many years
but I think t1 pro should be oem model from Proscenic.
anyone has information of those products?

Hi Natalie,

What is the current situation with the Proscenic app? Did they improve it ? I remember that you wrote "It is still raw and needs to be polished" a few months ago.

Thank you for your comments!

Natalie Red ⋅ 3 years, 11 months ago #

Hey Martial. Unfortunately, I don't know. I asked someone who has this robot but he also has lots of other robots so he doesn't use the M7 Pro as much to be sure about the app now... Wish I can say more and help you.

Hi Natalie
Any reviews?

Natalie Red ⋅ 4 years, 2 months ago #

Hi,
Have no idea. But the power button and side brushes look similar to the older M7 model.

Michael Vachon ⋅ 4 years, 2 months ago #

Hi do you know what is the OEM model? It not seem to be the same as the M7 first version which is a Viomi v2 clone

Chung Do ⋅ 4 years, 2 months ago #

Yes. it does have mopping function .Sorry for fail information .

Natalie Red ⋅ 4 years, 2 months ago #

Anyway, thanks for the feedback. Sometimes we have incorrect info in our specs, so it is good to check the information one more time.

Chung Do ⋅ 4 years, 2 months ago #

No mopping funtion .$400 is the price for robot only . Self empty dust bin sale supprate

Genua ⋅ 4 years, 2 months ago #

No mopping function? So the spec sheet is false?

Natalie Red ⋅ 4 years, 2 months ago #

The Proscenic M7 Pro actually has mopping function.

M7 Pro just arrived but I’m receiving a ‘server error’,so I can’t open app without “creating” an account. Can’t create account because of server error.
